I spent 3 nights at Casa Mama Emma in January 2023 and highly recommend it! Mama Emma and her daughter Yadira are so warm and welcoming! They truly treat you like family! Most of the lodging in town are loud due to city sounds, and the fact that there are many young people in town enjoying the many adventures in the area. Casa Mama Emma is on the edge of town, still easily walkable to town, but backs up to a lovely sounding river that lulls you to sleep. If you are looking for luxury don’t come here, but if you are looking for a clean and friendly place to stay with a hot shower, this is your place. I absolutely loved my stay at Mama Emma’s!

Mama Emma and Jadira are the most warm, welcoming and nicest people you can imagine who went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible. The rooms are really nice, clean, quiet and have a stunning view on the mountains. Apropos the outside, it’s directly in the nature which was awesome. The location is still super close to the bus station and the main city.
