We arrived after 2 long days on a bus from Lima to be greeted at the door of the hostel by the most unwelcoming person on this planet. No smile, no welcome, no introduction. She made us dump our bags in the laundry room for the day and laughed at us when we enquired about an early check in even when we said we were willing to pay extra. We were left sitting in the hallway with no directions or Information. When I asked her if there was a bathroom we could use she laughed and pointed out 3 different bathrooms. I didn’t understand her ugly attitude towards us. Also the HostelWorld website stated that reception was open 24 hours but the day before we arrived we received an email stating that the hostel would only be open from 7.30am to 22.00pm and that we would have to WhatsApp 5 different people on our arrival. First impressions count. Please put someone more customer service friendly at the front desk.
