Today was the last time I will ever visit this establishment, unfortunately. I love the place. Great food, good service ect.... but when you ask probably at least a dozen times to employees, and even the owner, if it's ok for me to go outside somewhere to smoke a little something and they say of course right over here. And then when you do it a few weeks later, one of the head honchos comes up to you and says in a real A-hole tone "We don't do that here. You have to go somewhere else. This is the last time I tell you." And mind you, throughout that, I'm very apologetic, and I was just doing what I was told to do....by EVERYONE. All you had to do was ask politely and not be a d%$k about it. So, you lost all my business, and from the people that would have come with me. Would have been my spot...but nope! Not after being talked to like that. What's funny, is that this same guy was talking about how Ecuadorian's weren't very good with business....especially CUSTOMER SERVICE!...

And if you're new to Cuenca, or passing through, a good place for assistance you might need like advice for getting cell service, or finding something. Everyone "knows a guy" there. Friendly staff, good biosecurity measures during the pandemic. Lovely location, US football as well as other sports, they've added some killer breakfast offerings, too. Hasn't been open at night during the pandemic, but open at 8 a.m....
