La Coupole — Hotel in Mariscal Sucre

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay in this wonderful hotel, after a slightly adventurous journey through the Ecuadorian highlands. Therefore, we were a bit in need of some peace, quiet and luxury - and we found of all that in La Coupole! ||||One day before our planned arrival (we originally intended to stay for only 3 nights), we called in at 9AM to inquire whether we could arrive one day earlier. Upon arrival at 10AM, we found that our rooms were ready - being able to leave all our stuff in our rooms, have a quick shower and change clothes was such a luxury and showed such hospitality. ||||The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean and luxurious. The hotel is beautifully located in an exciting part of Quito, though the noise form the street was almost non-existent at night in our rooms. The staff is very friendly and willing to help, always inquiring about our plans and giving some tips or advise. The breakfast is amazing and is everything you need for a full day of exploring Quito. ||||We'll be traveling to Ecuador more often, and we'll for sure come back to La Coupole every time...

I stayed at this hotel for about 10 days, a local friend had recommended it to me and I would highly encourage everyone visiting Quito to choose La Coupole.|The hotel is located in a quite neighborhood called Mariscal where you can find lots of coffee shops and art galleries and it’s only about 15-20 min by car to the city center.|I was upgraded for free to the deluxe suite on my second day and that was really nice and comfortable. It had a wonderful terrace with city views and it was very large and bright.|The owner was very kind and always making sure guests feel taken care of.|Amongst the personnel I would highlight Franklin, who continuously went above and beyond his duties making me feel very well-treated at all times. He was truly wonderful and always ready to help with anything a guest might need: transportation, luggage, breakfast choice. |The breakfast is also very good, with fresh fruit and juice, toasts, eggs and waffles.||I’d recommend staying at La Coupole to whoever is in Quito and would most certainly stay there...

This hotel is in a great location and only minutes from Centro (by taxi). My room had a wonderful sitting lounge as well as a beautiful bedroom. The bathroom was sleek and new which was a surprise being in such a beautifully renovated mansion. The place is immaculate, the decor adding so much charm to this elegant hotel.||Breakfast is fine with wonderfully fresh fruit each morning.||One of the best things is the staff which went so far beyond the call of duty. For example, one of the lens in my glasses fell out so the manager escorted me 10 blocks to an optician, waited until it was repaired and then walked me back to the hotel. Exceptional service indeed.||The only problem is that the street noise on a Friday night might bother a light sleeper but other than that the place was perfect.||A truly enjoyable experience. I'd go back in...
