Hostal Buenos Aires — Hotel in San Juan

We had a pleasure sleeping in this hostal for 2 nights. The room had: a bed (with a firm mattress) some furniture clean sheets a TV monstrous hairballs in the corners mold everywhere thin walls so you could heard everything, most annoyingly other guests going up and down the stairs and loudly chatting at 4AM The room didn't have: a window (well there was a tiny window facing inside of the hotel but you couldn't possibly open it) any extraction fan in the bathroom so it was constantly humid bulbs in the bedside lamps

So all in all 2 stars is the absolute maximum I can give. It was very hard to get any rest due to constant noise during the night and very firm mattress. And no included breakfast as the chef...

The room is mediocre, not so clean, some noise because of loud tv, and you need to wait 10min and waste a lot of water to have lukewarm water. But more importantly, they stole our sleeping bag that we forgot in the room. It had sentimental value for us and for trekkers. Do not go to this hotel. SON LADRONES...

I had a great time staying here. The neighborhood is pretty quiet with restaurants, stores, and a park nearby. The hotel manager is very nice and extremely helpful. Breakfast is delicious and different everyday. When I return to Quito I will definitely...
