CHARGED US TWICE! We stayed for a total of 22 nights as we were conducting business in Hurghada. An emergency came up meaning we had to leave early so we arranged through booking.com Via phone call AND the hotel In person that we would pay for the full days and return in a few weeks to use the days that we had left. This was all agreed before we left by all 3 parties.
We returned a few weeks later to use the owing days that had already been paid for and upon check out they presented us with a bill charging us again for some of the nights that we had already paid in advance for I showed proof from the booking confirmations, explained and counted each individual nights we stayed to prove the amounts were correct and they continued to say that we needed to pay. We asked them also to call Booking.com in Cairo who we sorted it with and they refused (we used the reception phone last time). We argued this for about an hour and as time went on we were starting to become late for our flight so had to leave. As my partner was going to load our cases into the car the receptionist advised that they were to hold our cases ransom until we paid, the general manager was present throughout all this and also saw all the evidence and did nothing. The driver who is also a personal friend of ours from Egypt was there at the time of the original arrangement being made and the hotel wouldn’t listen to him either.
After weighing up the pros and cons we decided we had to pay as not missing our flight was more important! It has been almost 2 weeks and then “looking into the error” still nothing, I do not expect that we will see any of this money again.
I would advise people to stay away from this hotel, especially if you are booking through a booking agent as you still aren’t protected from being robbed by this hotel! If it was a genuine cost, all our details were with booking.com so if we left as people know they can charge to the card. Also the fact they refused to call them makes this all look conspicuous! We ended up being late for our flight and begging for them to let us check in!

Read moreOverall the experience was average, but it could have been good had the staff and hotel handled things differently.||Pros:|- Nice sea view rooms with a great view|- Small pool with cold water was niceish|- most of the staff seemed friendly enough||Cons:|- room was not properly cleaned with ned sheets that has stains and hair on them and a night stand with dirt and drink rings was visibly dirty|- bad breakfast food|- far from everything and no markets or food places nearby|- only basic coffee is available at the lobby bar, nothing fancy, Fanta, coke, water and tonic water with a couple of chocolate bars and that's it - no proper bar or alcohol |- no coffee, tea, sugar, salt, water, any kind of condiments or proper pots and pans to cook anything with the kitchenette in the room, useless|- the shower was plugged from before arrival,the cap was off the drain. I asked to have it fixed three or four times, each time I was told it would be taken care of but all they would do is clean the pool of water in the bathroom but not actually unplug it|- room keys randomly stop working so a lot of walking back and forth, no extra toilet paper, you have to ask, everything has to be requested |- beach is accessible from another building at the bottom of a steep hill. The beach is unfinished so no toilets, showers, bars etc, but the beach itself is nice with chairs and umbrellas|- after all that I was charged $30 USD for late checkout...||Not bad overall, but...
Read moreThe apartments are very spacius, the reception and breakfast area are also very spacious too. There is a room with a big TV for watching sports/films too, which is excellent and comfortable. The pool area has plenty of loungers for many families.||||Incredible views over the Red Sea when you open your curtains in the morning. Balcony is excellent for a lovely morning view. Food at breakfast is fine, the only downside was minimal wifi in the rooms, had to be in reception to get a strong signal. ||||The apartments are atop of a big hill. There is a Tuk-Tuk, driven by super friendly staff members who will pick you up from the security gates down at the road and bring you up to the hotel, which is very handy. They will also take you down to and back from the private beach for the Sky View...
