Hyat Suites & Private Rooms — Hotel in Alexandria

It got the job done, but if I were to come back to Alexandria, I would try a different hotel. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice Seaview, but the room was very small and the bathroom wasn’t even big enough to be a closet. Even with the door closed, the shower would flood the room and on the tile we were slipping, and it was quite dangerous. The staff also left at 5 PM and never came back so if we needed anything, we were on our own. They only gave us one towel for two people as well. And the person that was meant to check us in made us wait for 15 minutes for some reason. She was friendly, but traveling in Egypt can be very stressful and making us stand in the lobby for that long was annoying. There was one dirty, broken chair that we could wait on. The building was also gross with a smell. Something even pooped on the rug outside of our room. I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with my experience. While the view might be nice, the service is misleading and poor.

Air Conditioning Issues: I spent one out of my two nights without AC. The hotel staff showed no remorse or urgency in addressing the issue.

Lack of Responsiveness: I had to constantly follow up to get even the most basic services. Despite multiple WhatsApp messages over 20+ days regarding my issues, I received no response.

Cleanliness Concerns: During two different stays in executive suites, I found ants. This clearly shows a lack of general care and maintenance.

Parking Problems: The hotel claims to offer parking spots, but there were none available. I had to figure out alternative arrangements on my own, as the staff were unhelpful.

Overall, this hotel fails to meet even basic standards of hospitality and customer service. I do not recommend...
