Oasis hotel — Hotel in Cairo

Firstly this hotel was not my choice but was the one selected by the tour company I used to book my Egypt adventure. ||To my surprise several other tour companies do the same, all at the same time.||So whist I was there, there was overcrowding . Let me summarize some of my issues||1. All rooms are on ground level. So you have to walk with your bags all the way through the maze, to find your rooms||2. There are 2 options for wifi. Paid wifi which when paid is unreliable and free wifi by the pool area. That is a lie. The free wifi, if you depended on it, will drain your patience and leave you miserable. It also doesn't work when too many persons are connected...||3. Buffett breakfast whilst they have over 250 people at a time, all on tours with the same departure time, what you think will happen. Rush for breakfast. The breakfast area is small and too overcrowded for the amount of persons staying there. ||This leads to indigestion no matter how good those falafels were ||The rooms were decent...

My friends and I stayed here for a few nights. ||We had a late flight and got to our room at approximately 2am. We were woken at about 8am by housekeeping. it was incredibly annoying. We stayed here again a few nights later, with a check out at 12pm. Housekeeping again woke us up at 8am and then again at 11.30am. Surely they have a report to tell them who is leaving and when. ||||We had a few meals around the pool. it is incredibly hard to order any food or drinks. Once we finally flagged someone down, he literally walked off midway through taking our order. It should not be that hard to order food or drink. ||||Both rooms we stayed in had the showers leak. ||||My friend had her PJs disappear from her room, housekeeping didnt have it, laundry didnt have it and neither did my friend, it was incredibly hard to get to the bottom of this problem and it was never resolved, they just said they couldnt locate it. ||||This hotel is...

I was put at this hotel by my tour company which had advertised a 5 star tour. The hotel is rundown and in disrepair. The toilet leaked and the room wasn't cleaned properly. The saucers with the glasses were dirty. They give you one bottle of water in the room on the first day and that's it. They don't want you to bring in your own water because they want you to buy water from them at four times the price. The dinner buffet wasn't very good and most of the hot food was lukewarm. There is no fruit at the breakfast buffet. The free wifi they advertise at the pool is nonexistent. ||They have dogs at the security gate which they use to sniff incoming cars. The dogs are chained up on a small chain and when one was playing with a plastic water bottle the handler took it away from him. They also have an overcrowded aviary with wild birds on the property.||But they do...
