Room service was prompt, and housekeeping did a good job. The breakfast had a decent variety. Having an ATM inside the hotel was also very convenient.

Porters and housekeeping were really helpful.

However, several aspects of our stay were disappointing: • This is NOT 4 Stars! • We arrived early and were directed to an outside restaurant as the in-house restaurant was hosting the buffet breakfast. However, the reception staff could have informed us that we could join for breakfast at an additional cost, as an option! • We booked a deluxe room, but it was surprisingly small and didn’t feel like value for money. • The hotel allows smoking almost everywhere, with unpleasant ashtrays scattered around. A designated smoking area would be more appropriate to maintain a cleaner environment for non-smokers. • Our room was on level 1, and nearby rooms were being painted during our stay — not even with odorless paint. The smell seeped into our room, and no point raising concerns, the reception staff showed little interest or care. • Communication was a challenge. Very few staff members understood English, which affected the quality of service. For example, we ordered room service, but only part of the order was delivered due to miscommunication. Thankfully, we weren’t overcharged. • One night, we returned from a tour around 11 p.m., only to be unexpectedly approached by a laundry staff member asking for payment in broken English — despite our stay still having three more days left. • The restaurant has very limited operating hours, and dining in is only allowed during specific times. There were occasions when we didn’t want to eat in the room and were happy to order food, but dining at the restaurant was not an option. • At the pool and food area (Sky60), some male staff members behaved unprofessionally by openly staring at female guests in swimwear, creating an uncomfortable and inappropriate atmosphere. Their lack of focus also resulted in delayed service to other guests, which is completely unacceptable for any hospitality setting. • The on-site salon and gift shop were entirely closed during our stay, with no prior notice or signage indicating their unavailability. This lack of communication was frustrating and disappointing. • The on-site taxi service is overpriced and charges in USD, which feels unreasonable. The cars themselves are not even particularly high-end to justify the cost. • Every morning at breakfast, we were asked for our room number. It would be more professional and welcoming if the staff recognized their guests without needing to ask each time. • The room layout was poorly thought out — the bed and TV were positioned awkwardly, making it uncomfortable to watch TV from the bed. • The room layout was poorly thought out — the bed and TV were positioned awkwardly, making it uncomfortable to watch TV from the bed. • Over the weekend, the music and noise continued into the early morning hours. It was extremely loud and could be clearly heard even on Level 1, making it hard to sleep. • The bathroom had a persistent, unpleasant smell that made the space feel unclean. • The lifts were catastrophic — incredibly small.

Overall, this stay was disappointing and fell well below our expectations. We strongly urge the hotel management to take these issues seriously and make meaningful improvements to staff professionalism and the overall...

First of all, I would like to apologize as requested by the Baron Hotel! I apologize because Google Translate translated some things so incorrectly that it was understandably offensive and did not correspond to the actual experience! So once again, I apologize to the Baron Hotel and all the lovely employees there who did nothing wrong and tried their best!!! Now what I meant by the surroundings: I cannot describe in a few words whether everything was good or bad, I can only describe it in detail. If in doubt, I choose the good, which is why I give the hotel all 5 stars, except for the star for the location. The hotel and its employees, as well as the management, have NOTHING to do with the following!!! In short, I have never experienced so much disrespect. What I mean by that are the wrong people, who I met so many on the streets nearby. By that I mean from about 500 meters away, i.e. the wider area! I have never experienced such deceitfulness in people and also that these people think that we are stupid, but in reality they are even stupider than they think. Because we notice it very clearly when we are smiled at and greeted from the front and are happy and 2 meters further we are immediately laughed at, insulted and whatever. The beggars who all walk around and beg from the tourists. There is no such thing in Germany. Our beggars only beg from our own people from Germany and not from the tourists. I must also expressly give the El Estez bistro only the best here, so that it is not misunderstood again! All super nice people there too!!! And I strongly recommend that all people in Cairo, or rather the brazen people there, think about whether they want to continue to treat tourists like that! This rip-off that takes place there, all in the name of good, you know what I mean, it is definitely not good, it is exactly the opposite. Because if this is not fixed and you all work together on it, like we do in Germany, all over the world and all people all over the world, then tourists will gradually stop visiting you. And then you know what will happen to your country. Because you are also highly dependent on it, and thank God for us too, because without this dependence we would not be able to have a nice holiday with you. Because you think we are all rich and can afford it. No, that is not true. We do not have enough money in Germany either, our money is just as worthless in Germany as your money is with you. And I strongly recommend that you change your mind about this disrespectful way of treating us so that tourism can continue to exist in this great and wonderfull country. I can tell you, as long as I do not hear anything different about how tourists are treated, I will not come back. Please don't confuse kindness with stupidity ❤️ And once again, so that nothing is misunderstood here: I only mean the area 500 meters from the Baron Hotel! There is and was NOTHING to complain about with the hotel!!! The people in the hotel were all really great, kind and did everything for us to make us happy!!! God...

I booked and paid a room at this hotel for 9 nights. I stayed 6, due to some changes in my program, independent of me. With one day before my departure, my company sent an email to the hotel for information and to postpone the remaining 3 nights to the following week. I didn't received any answer from them. In the next morning day, when I make the check-out, I asked the reception personnel about this answer. They seemed like they had no idea what it was about and start searching for the respective mail. First answer was that they didn't received, but after I gave them additional details and saw me that I intend to call somebody from the company, they admitted that the mail was received, but that they cannot give me an answer and only the manager can. I requested them to call the manager. The front desk manager was 2 meters behind me (?!). We discuss about this postpone and he told me that there is no problem, that move the remaining 3 nights can be moved for the next week and asked the people at the reception to check the availability. After they confirmed the availability, I asked them to make the reservation, moment when the front desk manager told me that they should receive another mail from the same mail address with this request, for another voucher. Even though his attitude was arrogant and contemptuous (turning his back on me during the discussion and interrupting the discussion several times, addressing other people), his point of view seemed logical to me and it remained established that way. But, after 3 days, my company informed me that the hotel refuse to make the reservation, citing that they don't have rooms available, but they don't want to return the money either. - Arrogants and cheaters!

Other unpleasant things in this hotel: Even if it was well maintained, it was easy to see that the furniture was very old. On the first evening, after I served dinner, although I was waiting for someone to come and pay for the buffet dinner, no one came. Considering that they were probably informed that I paid for 9 nights' accommodation, I went to my room, and the next day I had to pay for the last dinner as well. However, around midnight (11:35pm) I was called to my room by a rude individual, who neither greeted nor apologized for the late hour, but went directly to the subject, telling me that I should pay for dinner and that he will come at my room for the money. When I told him that I waited to do this but no one noticed me and asking him if he couldn't wait until the morning, and that in the meantime he could check at the reception if I'm leaving or not the next morning, he repeated: "OK , in the morning". When I asked him if he knew what time it was, he hung up on me. Of course that in the next morning, when I asked about this person, nobody knows who was. For these reasons, I decided do not eat the next dinners in their restaurant - Rood and impolite. They brought in the room a welcome fresh fruits and sweets platter on the 6th day of my stay, instead of...

Recommend I recently had the opportunity to stay here, and while the staff's friendliness and warm welcome left a positive impression, there were a few areas that fell short of my expectations. Firstly, I must commend the hotel staff for their exceptional customer service. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine smiles and a helpful attitude. They were attentive to my needs and provided assistance whenever required. Their friendly demeanor contributed significantly to creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. However, I must address the issue of room comfort. It was evident that the rooms were a little outdated, and this affected the overall comfort level. The furnishings and amenities appeared to be in need of refurbishment. Additionally, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, specifically the carpet. It was apparent that the carpets were not adequately cleaned, as they appeared dirty and worn maybe full of red Wine. This lack of cleanliness detracted from the overall ambiance of the room and left me feeling somewhat uneasy. I believe that greater attention to detail in the housekeeping department would greatly enhance the guest experience. But overall the room was clean no dust at all. Despite these drawbacks, I must reiterate that the staff's hospitality was a standout feature of my stay at the Baron Hotel. Their warm and welcoming attitude went a long way in compensating for the shortcomings I encountered. I sincerely hope that the management takes note of the concerns raised regarding room comfort and cleanliness, as addressing these areas would significantly improve the overall guest experience. Also you can enjoy the amazing view of Baron place. Also they have a very tasty patisserie in the whole city try their Mille-feuille it’s a signature. The pastry layers were delicate, flaky, and perfectly baked to a golden hue. Each bite offered a delightful crunch that seamlessly melded with the luscious cream filling. Additionally, the presentation of the Mille-feuille was a feast for the eyes. The pastry was elegantly layered and dusted with a delicate sprinkle of powdered sugar, adding a touch of sophistication to its visual appeal. The attention to detail in its creation was evident, showcasing the Baron Hotel's dedication to excellence in every aspect of their culinary offerings. The Mille-feuille truly embodied the essence of a perfect pastry. It was clear that the Baron Hotel takes great pride in their signature creation, as it showcased their commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to their guests. But they must fix the prices about the products. It’s little bit expensive.
