Paradise Roof — Restaurant in Cairo

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Paradise, a rooftop bar that falls far short of its name. My experience at this establishment was nothing short of a nightmare, with mistreatment, deception, and an overall disrespectful atmosphere that left me feeling insulted and taken advantage of.

First and foremost, the staff at Paradise seemed to have a knack for mistreating their customers. From the moment I stepped foot into the bar, I was met with a complete lack of respect and courtesy. The bartenders and waitstaff appeared disinterested and aloof, often ignoring customers or responding with condescending remarks. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.

To make matters worse, Paradise had a habit of lying to its customers. Despite the bar's claim of being first come, first served, I was rudely informed upon arrival that reservations were required. This blatant lie not only wasted my time, but it also showcased the staff's lack of integrity and their willingness to deceive customers for their own convenience.

One of the most egregious tactics employed by Paradise was their use of a minimum charge. Customers were coerced into spending more money under the pretense of a so-called "minimum charge," which conveniently increased the bill without any regard for the quality of service or experience provided. It was clear that Paradise saw its customers as nothing more than walking wallets, ready to be exploited for their own gain.

Adding insult to injury, the staff at Paradise seemed to take pleasure in insulting and belittling their customers. Whether it was through snide remarks or passive-aggressive behavior, it was evident that the staff had no regard for basic human decency. This toxic atmosphere left a sour taste in my mouth and made it clear that Paradise had no interest in fostering a welcoming environment for its patrons.

In conclusion, my visit to Paradise was an absolute disaster. The mistreatment, deception, and overall disrespectful behavior displayed by the staff left me feeling insulted and taken advantage of. Terrible service, this is my second time here but the upper roof had two servers who were constantly staring at guests (especially couples), I get that there's a certain standard they should follow, but it got to the point where a guy complained about this making him and his partner uncomfortable.

Some drinks were spilled at my table and a younger server who's 18 at maximum didn't bother to clean it even though I politely asked him to, throughout the night he'd keep clicking bottles together which for sure annoyed almost everyone and in general was too noisy.

It's a cool place to stop by and have a drink with your date, the music&vibe were cool as well, but other than that you'd hardly notice a huge difference between it and اي قهوة بلدي in...

A really good place to hang out. Owner/Manager (Mina) is super friendly and professional. Staff are very nice and friendly and they know their job. They offer free popcorn snacks during your sitting. Only drawback is prices: they're quite pricey. Not to mention the VATs they add to the bill. I wish if they would make a menu with the actual prices, including VATs and Taxes.

Overall, the place is very good to gather with family and friends. Good cocktails and bartenders. The menu includes most of the drinks you might want.
