Mokito — Restaurant in Cairo

I'm disappointed with my recent visit to Mokito As a loyal customer for years, I expect consistency and good service. Unfortunately, I encountered two major issues.

Firstly, the prices on the menu didn't match what was advertised on your social media pages. The prices added manually on the paper menu.

Secondly, the supervisor's attitude was off-putting. He insisted I sit at specific tables and didn't bother to smile or show any customer care. As a repeat customer, I expect better treatment.

To improve, I'd suggest:

Ensure menu prices match online ads Train staff, especially supervisors, on customer service and hospitality

Until these issues are addressed, I won't be recommending Mokito to friends and family.

I'd appreciate a response from the management to see if they'll take...

🌟 A wonderful experience at Mokito! From the moment I walked in, I felt truly welcomed. The atmosphere at Mokito is cozy and inviting, and the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Italian flavor. You can really feel the care put into every dish and every detail of the service. Underrated restaurant. İ don't know how its not popular. One of the greatest pastas i ever tried in Cairo. Seating indoor and outdoors. Some chairs are not that comfy to sit on. Decorations adds to the experience. Loved the Italian playlist.

We started with a salad "portofino" if am not mistaken. The amount of smoked salmon and shrimp is satisfactory and tastes fresh.

For pastas we took siciliana pasta. It was delicious and perfectly made. Their tomato/marinara sauce is from another world.

I wanted to try their coffee but the pasta portion was huge 😅
