Dar Dahab — Hotel in South Sinai

There is so much I can say about this unique place where I come back again and again because you feel like at home..Back after few years due to the Covid restrictions its a pleasure to be back. Offer great sea views and during my stay i don't miss a sunrise alwyas different and sometime going for an early swimm even just after the sunrise...The apartments are have a kitchen where you can cook with local shops offer everything you need and a fishmonger just few minutes u will away...But if you like they can organise breakfast and Ammar the manager can cook a great beduin dinner you will never forget!! Ahmad and Moustafa'too work very hard to run any cores to keep the place at very high standard and always ready for any requests as Ammar can arrange e any request and suggestions what to visit in Dahab...Lady Nahid the owner is the soul of Dar Dahab and working as Ammar ralways helpful with any requests or any problems...Maintenance is at very high standard and if something is not wprking properly will be repaired in very short time...The peace at Dar Dahab is broken only by children at sea playing even football !! Guests should be more caring when stay at Dar Dahab because its extra work if come back from a swim and come iand should be n without taking off or washing their sea shoes in the basket water outside!!! Dah Dahab is like home: I have seen the staircase been washed 3 times in a day!!! If you like to sunbathing there is a great terrace well stock with chairs and there are cushions where at the end of the you can see a sunset over the mountains...This year was very special to be back and as a chef its a pleasure to do some cooking for the guests..Lady Nahid also try to help ;new people come ti live in dahab and doing their roots cooking food but also they can suggest places in town or have take away...Any problem at Dar Dahab is not a problem because there is a way!! the wish to make your stay very relax without any issues of any sort....There si much more to say about Dar Dahab for its eco furnitures with a booking area too!! Dar Dahab is home for me and the only bad time its leaving time because you feel like taking a piece of Dar Dahab and want to give back when you come back with a great new experience vacation!!! i love it!!! I come back every year and somehow is always better than last time..Since 2015 is home for me...I miss can't come during Covid time..So was a pleasure be again at Dar Dahab back and this year even better than last time!! All the team work very hard to make your stay as comfortable and helpful with any requests..Ammar is not just a manager but can help with any requests and arrangements you want to do from trips to the desert , breakfast or dinner in the house or in Dahab..to even cook a great typical bedouin dinner!! Any arrangements Ammar is your person always with a smile!! Mustafa an Ahmet keep the place always very clean and very good with maintenance repairs at any time of the day!! Lady Nahid as the owner always very helpful and without Her Dar Dahab is like a sky without the stars..Great understanding and helpful for any personal problems even She is on vacation keep running Dar Dahab because She talk with Her team and this reflect also of all of Them interface with the Guests!! I honestly believe some guests don't deserve to be at Dar Dahab!! No respect for this very caring and loving place!! I love to cook sometime at Dar Dahab for everyone and as a chef is a pleasure over the years to have an Italian dinner with the team and guests...So if you stay at Dar Dahab think as your home because this is what make Dar Dahab unique..Everything else look its architecture, great views for a wonderful sunrise..I don't miss a single morning!! A terrace where you can sunbathing in peace and relax...I know and already planning for my next visit!! I strongly recommended to catch the real Dahab with close shops in Assala with great selection for every day needs.. At Dar Dahab there is no problem because there is a solution!! Thank you to all the Team to make my visit always...

I donot usually like to share bad experiences. But i want to give a review on "Dar Dahab" which looks nice in the picture but unfortunately their customer service is a mess

I reserved the sea view room for 18- 22 may . Paid the deposit on 10 may . And settled all my travel bookings . Especially i am going for work and had to arrange alot of field visits accordingly for me and my team .

I recieved a call; hours before my travel ... that there is a guest in the room i am reserving and he wont leave so they are asking me to change to a side view room or they will make me stay in a nearby building . I said this is not convient. And we can only change the room with another sea view room

They insisted that there is no other option . Though i know that the owner's daughter is staying in one of the sea view rooms . So they can simply take her to the other building !!!!

They also said it is their right to send back the deposit and cancel . One day before my arrival.

And when i got angry and didnot agree they called me a naughty guest and that they are going to put me in the black List

Is this the kind of service we shall expect from one of the most expensive swiss-egyptian hotels in dahab ?

If anyone reserved with them . Please have your plan B because they can change/cancel your reservation even if you paid...
