I haven't been reviewing for a long time, but a waiter there with kajal eyes and a kaborya haircut was really bad that he made me come here to write a review! So the food, the prices, the views, the care taken of the place, all the previous is amazing. Sharing our places is a nice, social idea. But this waiter, first off, no one told us nothing about having to leave the place for an hour for their break. Secondly, I asked this waiter if we could sit outside until their break is over, but he didn't give me an answer. he lied that "everyone is leaving anyways" and didn't answer my question. i was really nice asking him, and he arrogantly said, "we do this daily and everyone leaves," talking to me as if he's coming from outer space and I'm the ignorant. a few moments later, a man replied the waiter rudely, "My family wants to sit on the beach view, get it done😒." The waiter actually made the family sit outside! Is it because I was nice, you choose to lie and ruin our plans?! Should I've been rude to you like that man? to do us what we wanted!!? My friends didn't get to swim because of you! And we were about to feel bad because we didn't get the chance to sit more there and enjoy the...
Read moreEXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. So disappointed as a friend of mine recommended the place and I was planning on being a repeat customer during my time in Dahab.
I went there in the afternoon and ordered a coffee in the outdoor/beach area and specifically told the waiter i’m staying all day and for dinner. At sunset I asked to move inside for dinner - the entire place had ONLY TWO OCCUPIED tables, each by a single person.
Guy at the cashier (owner?) stopped me and “told” me to sit on their worst table right next to the door, in “January” (when the entire town is off season), because “ in two hours more people might come to have dinner. I said I’m staying for dinner as well and I don’t wanna sit at the coldest table, so he suddenly changed his words to “the entire place is reserved” (in January, on a Tuesday), again in an extremely condescending way. I told him if that’s the case I’m leaving and he didn’t even care.
There are places with better food, better view, and far better seating in Dahab, where you would actually be treated with care and respect.
Never going there again....
Read moreI stumbled upon this beautiful gem at Eel Garden…a cafe that doubles as a breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot, and it was a pure delight! The view is stunning, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality. The host is beyond generous, welcoming, and professional, creating a warm, friendly environment that makes you feel right at home. Today, I came in a bit late for breakfast, yet they graciously allowed me to order brunch. I was in a rush and didn’t realize that the platter I ordered wasn’t vegetarian, so I only nibbled around the edges and had a drink. Remarkably, the host noticed and kindly refused to charge me for anything, saying it was “on the house.” I was truly touched by their thoughtfulness and kindness—this level of generosity is so rare. The atmosphere here is soothing and grounding. The clientele respects the calming vibe, each person quietly enjoying their own moment. It’s the perfect spot to escape, surrounded by good vibes and peaceful energy. If I could, I’d have breakfast here every day. A perfect spot that truly leaves a...
