Jasmine Resort & Aqua park — Hotel in South Sinai

This would be such a nice place if some people wouldn’t spoil it. We did get disappointed a couple of times. We booked an appointment via receptionist 1. with a beach ticket to Naama bay including transfer back and forth. 5 minutes before our appointment we showed up, and receptionist 2. is talking with his wife on the speaker, playing on another phone in his hand. He doesn’t understand why we are there, and makes us wait. Soon, his second phone was ringing and the taxi was calling him, but he was too busy to pick it up as he was still talking to his wife on the other phone. When he checked his phone, the taxi was away already. Eventually 40 mins later he aggressively points with his finger that the taxi is outside (after telling us twice ‘5 minutes taxi here’). The taxi gave us his phone number to ring him when we want him to pick us back up from the beach when we’re done, so we did that around 6pm. On the way back, he is aggressively trying to ask for 60 pounds from us, and he’s trying to explain that this is now a taxi and we need to pay, even though we booked this trip including transfers and he failed to say anything about this ‘change’ beforehand. Плюсы:

1. ремонт и мебель свежие
2. менеджеры отзывчивые

Минусы:

1. поселили в крайнем номере, здесь очень близко ночной клуб "Space", два-три раза в неделю спать невозможно
2. в ресторане на территории отеля готовят не вкусно, при этом цены не отличаются от хороших ресторанов
3. расположение не очень хорошее, до наамы пешком 20 минут, такси сюда заезжает редко, а если вызвать - ждать долго
4. нет интернета, отель предлагает взять в аренду 3g модем, но проще пойти и купить себе симку в городе. Проводного интернета нет, тем более никакой речи не идёт о безлимите.
5. район, где расположен отель, не очень респектабельный. Какие-то заброшенные здания, а на северо-западе неприятный пустырь со строительным мусором

Нейтрально:

1. есть бассейн, но в Шарме сложно найти отель без бассейна
2. есть магазин, но ассортимент крайне маленький, цены обычные

В следующий раз лучше поищу апарты в Delta Sharm. Здесь оказалось не удобно.

English: Pros:

2. managers are responsive

Minuses:

1. they put me in the last house, the night club "Space" is very close here, it is impossible to sleep two or three times a week
2. in the restaurant on site, the food is not tasty, while the prices do not differ from good restaurants
3. the location is not very good, it takes 20 minutes to walk to naama, a taxi rarely comes here, and if you call, you have to wait a long time
4. there is no internet, the hotel offers to rent a 3g modem, but it's easier to go and buy a SIM card in the city. There is no wired Internet, especially do not think about unlimited.
5. The area where the hotel is located is not very respectable. Some abandoned buildings, and in the northwest an unpleasant wasteland with construction debris

Neutral:

1. there is a pool, but in Sharm it is difficult to find a hotel without a pool
2. there is a store, but the assortment is extremely small, the prices are normal

Next time I'll better look for apartments in Delta Sharm. It's not so...

Jasmine is far from Salam Street, almost 1 km. Taxi do not like to go there. It could be more quiet, but there is a nightclub Space near, so you must be ready to hear music all night. Besides, they always build/rebuild and repair smth, it is often very noisy during the day. Nevertheless, the hotel is cosy, pools and slides are good. Restaurant and shop are available as well. The personnel is very pleased and polite, service is good. But the owners of the apartment is greedy - they take more money, than it is worth, the deposit will not be refunded, you should keep it in mind. As a result - I would rather choose another...
