Upon arrival at the Mountain restaurant, my husband and I were disappointed to find it unclean and in ruin. The floor and glass windows appeared to have never been washed, and the staff seemed unconcerned with cleaning tables or providing prompt service. We waited an excessive 30 minutes for a simple glass of coke, which was unacceptable given the restaurant's capacity for under 50 people. We had expected a 5-star dining experience, as it is 5* hotel, but this was very far from it. We promptly shared our concerns with the hotel staff and were relocated to the Beachside restaurant, which proved to be clean and pleasant. The following day, when my parents arrived, we requested they also be moved to the Beach restaurant due to the poor hygiene and service at the Mountain restaurant. However, the hotel administration refused to accommodate our request, citing that it was not possible. When asked to explain, they simply stated that the option was not available. During our holiday, my parents experienced discrimination and double standards in customer service due to their Ukrainian heritage, even though they were travelling from Poland. The staff openly discriminated against my parents. When we made the request, it seemed like a minor issue. However, when they made the same request, it became a major problem. We paid for the same hotel and the same room type even had rooms that were close to each other, however, the lever of service and hospitality was massive. During our stay, we also encountered inappropriate behaviour from a staff member named Mohamed, who worked at the beach bar area. He made comments asking us to speak a different language and falsely claimed that there was no water in the fridge, despite it being fully stocked. Additionally, he served men out of turn and appeared to have no understanding of proper queueing etiquette. In the spa zone, we were treated rudely by some staff members who spoke to clients in an unacceptable manner. We strongly recommend that the hotel management provide training to staff members on hospitality and customer service. On a positive note, we would like to express our gratitude to Chef, who served snacks at the beach bar and consistently provided excellent service with a friendly demeanour. I would like to thanks to Banu and Karim, members of the animation team. They are brilliant. They have done everything possible to make us...

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Naama Bay Promenade Beach Resort multiple times over the years. While I always appreciate the beautiful location and stunning views, I feel compelled to share some experiences that left me feeling less than satisfied during my most recent visit.
One frustrating aspect I encountered was the hotel's payment policy. As someone holding a foreign passport, I was informed at reception that I could only pay using foreign currency and not the local Egyptian currency. This was quite surprising to me, as I have never experienced such a restriction at any hotel around the world. It created unnecessary complications during my stay.
Another incident that left a sour taste was my experience with bringing food from an outside restaurant. I ordered some seafood from a well-known local establishment and brought it back to the hotel. When I approached the restaurant area to borrow plates and spoons, I was met by the General Manager, who offered assistance but informed me that there would be an extra charge for borrowing the plates. This seemed quite unreasonable, especially since I was a paying guest. I expressed my disappointment, and to my surprise, after speaking with the reception manager, the General Manager later offered the plates for free. I found this confusion about charges rather unnecessary and unprofessional.
Additionally, the doorman insisted on questioning my wife and me several times about whether we were sure we had the correct side of the hotel reserved. Despite us confirming multiple times that we did not want the mountain side, he continued to press the matter, which was quite upsetting.
On a positive note, I would like to thank Khaled from the reception, as he truly understood what it means to have a service mindset. His attentiveness was very much appreciated.
I also noticed some other small details that could use improvement, but I’d rather not go into those, as I’m still in love with this hotel and its lovely atmosphere.
Lastly, I found that the ice was often in short supply, making it difficult to enjoy cold beverages, which detracted from the overall experience.
Despite these issues, I remain in love with the hotel and its beautiful location. I hope management can consider these points to enhance the guest experience.
Thank you for taking the time to...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for 1 week. We stayed on the beach side. The hotel is not very big. You can get from one side to the other quickly. The rooms are not recently renovated but they are large and well maintained. Cleaning is done daily. The food at the main restaurant (next to the reception) is good. You always find something good to eat. I appreciate the fact that they do not serve frozen fries but you always find fresh fries cooked in different ways. The beach is big, the entrance to the water is smooth. The staff is nice. The location of the hotel is very good. You can reach the city center in 5-10 minutes by foot. Now the less positive parts: -nothing from the minibar is included in the price. If you want to drink a juice you have to go to the beach to get one -the bar next to the reception does not work within the all inclusive system. You have to pay for any consumption (except water) -only in the main restaurant you can get a free glass of wine. -the all inclusive system ends at 22:00 - for what you consume after this time you have to pay -rooms above the main restaurant / reception are noisy. Breakfast starts at 7 and you can't really rest any longer because the noise starts -at the beach bar (where most of the evening activities take place) they only serve wine for a fee (the cheapest bottle of wine costs about $15). -at the beach bar they also have (sometimes) a stupid rule: you are only allowed to bring 2 drinks. So if you want to have 2 beers for you and your wife and you also want a juice for the child you have to come to the bar again......
I have been to Egypt 5 times and Turkey 10 times in all inclusive hotels and I have never encountered such rules. I think people should know about these less pleasant things. I don't understand why there are so few reviews mentioning this.
Considering that it is a 5 star hotel and we purchased an all inclusive package, I think some changes should be made (it is not normal to ask for money for things that you should benefit from considering the service package purchased). Personally, I would only return to this hotel if the things mentioned...
