We had lunch with Don Antonio at Casaca. He runs a small 3 room bed and breakfast in town and also prepares absolutely delicious lunches everyday. Each morning he sends out a message with his special menu of the day and you just reply how many servings you would like. We had the pleasure of joining him for lunch at his place and the food was amazing. While passing the time enjoying great conversation, my family taught him how to play checkers. Next time you're in town, make sure that you call up Don Antonio early in the morning for the lunch special or just stop by his place to pick up some delicious homemade licores. We had a fantastic time at CASACA, Antonio is just great, the house is cozy and with only 3 rooms you really feel like you belong to Antonio's family. He took us to see coffee roasting with the neighbors, offered us every morning some of his homegrown delicious coffee, we cooked and enjoyed Pupusa together, and he gave us lots of tips about Ataco.
Cherry on the cake, his rooms are the cheapest of the city!

If you want to visit La Ruta de Los Flores this is the place to be. Antonio is the best host i ever had. He is very friendly, has a big heart and is very good chef!
