Overpriced for what you get
Considering this is just feels like a glorified Hostel you might feel disappointed with what you get for the price you pay. There are much better options like HOTEL TORSHAVN and Hotel Hafnia if you are looking for real comfort and better hospitality. Very Scandic in design, feel and Vibe
LOCATION: A bit away from the harbor, but still walkable from most Bars, Cafes and POints of Interest in old town
DINE + DRINK: They have a nice Lobby level hangout area where you get free COFFEE and TEA all day long. You can also buy beers and snacks out there. Breakfast is a simple affair with no specially prepared food like eggs or local cuisine.

Read moreIt’s definitely not a 3 stars hotel, expect more of a hostel/motel. Rooms are tiny, don’t have space to open a suitcase, we had to open them one by one on the bed. Bathroom setting is lacking massively because whenever you take a shower the entire floor gets wet, there’s no place to hang towels to dry. The room smells damp/sewagey/wet dog because there’s no ventilation in the bathroom so after showering everything has a damp feeling. Imagine using the toilet in the room… would get cringy. We had to sleep with the windows open during the night in September because of the smell. Breakfast is very basic and you have to clean after you eat, which in a real & proper hotel wouldn’t be the case. Beds were good and the duvets warm and cosy so we didn’t feel cold even with the window open. Location is good but again, if I’d have to re-do it, I’d much rather book an airbnb downtown if hotels are not available. Certainly I do not recommend it at their price point. We booked for a little extra another hotel that actually deserves to be called hotel, with...
Read morePreface this review with the fact that I know it's not the hotels fault that there are strikes on and no public transport. However, every time I asked for help or advice/information the staff were very unhelpful, and just laughed about the situation. No advice or suggestions for places I could get to, taxi services guided tours etc or anything good to do in Torshavn. I would be trying my hardest to ensure guests still had a good time. I was staying in the guesthouse and the rooms were awful, noisy at night, you can hear everyone else in the building. The mattresses are so uncomfortable, and the pillows are even worse and you're paying over £100 for these rooms. The breakfast is good and the staff there are really friendly, but it's the same food every day. The location is great, right in the centre of Torshavn and close to transport terminals, restaurants and two...
