This is a gem In Tórshavn if you enjoy specialty coffee. Their ham&cheese toast is just as amazing. Two pieces of advice: if you open at 10 am, expect many people to come all at once (10am for Europeans, speaking as one, is quite late for coffee / breakfast / whatever) so only one person who both takes orders and delivers food / coffee isn’t enough and just increases the waiting; more flexibility: we came every single day during our 4-day stay in Torshavn, either in the morning or in the afternoon (rainy days made that possible). Our very last day we had to head to the airport and we wanted to enjoy one last espresso before leaving, it was about 10.15am so they had just opened. The place was already too crowded that it would have taken 20 mins to be served. As “regular” customers we kindly asked to get our last espressos before the giant orders other customers had placed right before us. We were told it was not possible and still had to wait 20 mins (if we hadn’t had to go to the airport, we could have waited 20 mins, no biggie). We eventually left. This is strictly connected to the first point anyways. I would have given 5 stars but left with a bitter taste in my mouth, and nope, not thanks to coffee :)

The place is also ideal for board games during rainy days if you want to have a little break from...

Want coffee? Then this place is the place for you! With a good amount of different kinds of coffee on the menu it's great for any caffeine addiction! Whether you want to spend the time enjoying the freshly brewed deliciousness in the café or to go, maybe brew your own using the beans you can buy.

There's even something for non coffee drinkers, such as tea, juice and soda.

Though there's not much to choose with food, there's a pretty okay sandwich and great sweets, all which complement the bitter tastes of even the blackest of black coffee.

A good place to go with friends and maybe enjoy some chocolate on...

A hidden gem in Tórshavn! Brell Café serves some of the best coffee I’ve had in the Faroe Islands. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Inside, the café has a cozy and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Don’t let the outside fool you: it might look like a fast food joint from the street, but step inside and you’ll find a warm, stylish space with great vibes. Highly...

Cozy, warm, friendly and welcoming – these are four words that I personally think perfectly encapsulates what Brell café is like in Tórshavn, the Faroe Islands. Its location was a big plus for us too, since Tórshavn harbour was only a few minutes away from Brell café. It’s a little café good for small groups or for working as it’s relatively quiet, in my view. I would highly recommend Brell café in the Faroe islands!
