We discovered this dense green area of scrubby trees, bushes and plants on our walk back from the National Gallery. The park is free, dog-friendly and spans multiple city blocks in the heart of Torshavn. It is surrounded by a stone wall and has winding dirt walking paths.

Conocido también como Plantasjan, Viðarlundin í Havn es uno de los parques más grandes y antiguos de las Islas Feroe, situado en el corazón de Tórshavn. Este parque urbano ofrece un refugio tranquilo con senderos serpenteantes, puentes de madera y una rica vegetación. El parque alberga el Museo Nacional de Arte de las Islas Feroe (Listasavn Føroya) en su extremo norte. En el centro del parque se encuentra un estanque pintoresco habitado por patos y cisnes, que añade serenidad al entorno. Durante mi visita también se veían gaviotas y estorninos. Los sonidos de las aves le da un encanto especial al parque.

Cute little park in Thorshavn, but according to Faroese standards, it's probably the biggest one. It's worth to pay a visit here since it's probably the only place in Faroe where you can wander around trees and there is not much to do in...
