Room wasn’t cleaned at the time of arrival (dirty bed sheets from the last guests , dirty towels , trashes , plastic package of medications found in the can ,probably the last guests were ill ), contacted the hotel immediately but never got any replies from them . I was aware that there will be no reception. However under such unique situation there will be absolutely no possibility to contact the property at all . Their local phone number cannot be reached . There’s a landline on the 1st floor (entrance )but nobody ever picked up the phone . Had to go another place with all my luggage in the snow . Be aware ! After all these , you will not get a refund no compensation cause no matter what platform you are using (mine is booking.com) they just kicked the problem to the hotel which never will answer you . For the one firts night my rating would have been horrible, because yes, some people use the entrance to the hotel to relieve themselves and it was cleaned up next morning at 4 am, followed by washing windows of the building over the street at 6 am. You can imagine what a night sleep it was… However, for the next three nights, the stay was perfect. No outside noise whatsoever, excellent bed, minimal but well designed room, darkening curtains, decent shower gel, gluten and lactose free breakfast available at Sokos hotel over the street.
