In the Middle Ages, Luostarin Välikatu street ran from St. Olaf’s Dominican monastery to the Market Square and to the Cathedral. It was once one of the main streets of Turku. After the Great Fire in 1827, this street was left to remind us of the narrow streets of the past. Wonderful photo spot in the historical town centre. 📸
