Tintå — Restaurant in Turku sub-region

I was excited to try this place as it was recommended to me dyring my business trip. The food was okay, I had pizza (that was slightly undercooked on one side and cooked great on the other one). I also had a dessert that was okay, nothing special. Drinks as well were okay and nothing too interesting.

However what made me even post a review (I usually leave reviews if the place is amazing during my travels) is the absolutely sad service. From the moment I arrived I felt like I was a "burden and a bother". But what pushed me over the edge was the payment. I was supposed to pay 40€. The waitress only added 0,40€! I pointed out that she had made a mistake and charged me waaaay to little. She threw away the receipt and I took it as I paid with company card and had to have a proof of purchase for book-keeping. It seemed as I made a mistake and the waitress was not happy. She then fixed the price to what I owed and I paid. Not even a single thank you for a visit or anything that I point out that the bill was charged 10 times!!! Less than it should have. Instead I got a side eye. The service was one of the most dissapointing ones I have experienced. I do not need fake smiles or small talk but being treated kindly is something else.

I would not recommend the place, not even for the food or the drinks. Go few steps further to Blanko where food and service is 1000 times better. Or to Harald's where you will enjoy good service and tasty food for almost...

It's a pretty atmospheric place in the city center on the riverbank. If we come from Helsinki on weekends to go for a walk in Turku or even Naantali, we definitely have lunch here for several years in a row, because I love delicious and beautiful food))) Very tasty salads - all the greens are always fresh and of high quality, which is very important for the quality and taste of these dishes. The pita is incredible. Delicious risotto (it's a pity that they removed the white fish risotto from the menu).
