What can I say? For an Ibis Hotel, it surpasses my expectations! Just wow! Spacious receiving and lounge area. Contemporary art design hotel. |Hotel reception, Laure was the who received me, given me an option if I like the first room or not, she would gladly change it since I do not want a courtyard view. Sadly, they do not have room available facing the busy main streets but she gave me one with a view of Notre-Dame! Hugo, we started at the wrong foot wd regards to the AC thing but it was resolved immediately. He provided me with electric fan to cool down the room. In Amiens AC would only work towards Summer time otherwise there is no AC in the room. |Room, toilet is huge and so neat to my surprise! Housekeeping staffs were so polite and cleans and make up room and toilet thoroughly. They even volunteer to change my used glasses. How thoughtful is that?! I asked for extra towels and gave it without hesitations!! ||Location is right across the train station behind the Perret Tower so don’t be fooled by google map and take you all the way around the back. ||Sevice bottle for water infront of the lift and coffee until 6pm but even after the close time, they will prepare you coffee or tea. ||Staffs: Laure, Elias, Hugo |Kudos to the housekeeping management and staffs. Keep up the good work. ||Cons: Management should change the photo on their website for the Standard double room showing a balcony but for family room so that we will not presume we are going to have a balcony in that category. |More Choices for breakfast. Orange machine breaks and it’s finished even as early as 8 sometimes. Do not refill. |There is a stain on the room’s ceiling from maybe water leaking that needs to be addressd but not a bothersome. ||Highly recommend...

Our stay here (7 nights, 3 people) was a bit of a mixed bag:

While the location and general appearance of the hotel as well as the friendlieness of the staff was really good and we did in fact have an overall good stay, there are 2 negative aspects that I would like to point out:

  1. On the very first day I informed the reception that the drainage pipe of the bathroom sink was partially clogged, which resulted in a very slow water draining thus causing the sink to fill up quickly and to smell a little. I also raised the issue on the 2nd and 3rd day, and even left an note for the housekeeping. However, the issue was never resolved, which I cannot understand, since some use of drain-cleaner by the housekeeping or a 15 minute intervention by the janitor would have done the job. Yes, we have been offered a different room, but since we were a) already settled in and b) I considered this an issue which would be fixed within maximum a day, we decided not to move rooms.

  2. Breakfast seems to be understaffed. Filling up cutlery, cleaning tables and re-filling bread/pastry took longer than it should. Also, many of the knives, forks, spoons and especially the glasses were dirty, so there was obviously not enough time for quality control and/or the dishwasher was not operated properly.

Positive is the location, free coffee, nice lounge, free water and comfortable beds. The 'concrete' look of the rooms is not my taste and i really think, there should at least be a small sink in the...

We stayed at the Ibis Style hotel between April 30 and May 3. I first want to send a personal thank you to Laure, Justine, David and Anthony. We when arrived we had rented a car from a place close by. Unfortunately when we went to pick the car up - they were closed, which we hadn't been aware of, worse they were closed the next day as well. We wrote down several numbers that were on the door - plus the numbers on my rental agreement. When we got back to the hotel - all four literally went above and beyond to help. At one point we literally had three of them on different phones trying to call the numbers and one on the computer. We were beyond grateful with their help. They were friendly and did everything they could to help us try and sort the matter out. Coming from BC, Canada, my french is not great. Most could speak English very well and made sure to keep communication open. The service was beyond our expectations - we were so thankful for all their help. They made us feel welcome and looked after. Aside from the amazing staff - the hotel itself was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Thank you again Laure, Justine, David and Anthony and all the rest of the staff - who were also welcoming and friendly! I highly recommend the hotel! With much appreciation Gail and...

Clean, quirky room with lots of plugs next to the bed and near the tv. Very comfortable bed and bedding (but again in summer it could do with a top sheet so you have some covering that isn't the duvet - particularly as the fan settings worked on the thermostat, but the temperature control didn't). Fast, free wifi, but didn't get a chance to turn on the tv to see the channel selections. Blockout curtains seemed good. The bathroom had good shelving to place toiletries, and hooks for the hand towel near the sink; hairdryer also provided. Great pressure and temperature shower with overhead rain and hand held options. Both sink and shower also used bulk toiletries that smelt and felt great. Toilet brush also in the bathroom, which is so often overlooked. I only stayed overnight so didn't unpack my suitcase, but for a longer stay there is only hanging space, not really shelves or drawers for putting folded clothes and non-hanging items, so something to be aware of. The bar area was pleasant and fun with tasty dinner and breakfast options and friendly staff. If you want to eat out, the hotel is located amongst a lot of local restaurants with plenty of variety and options, and was close to the Match supermarket and the station. I would certainly stay here again if I was in the area.

We stayed here as a family with dog for one night. It’s brand new very clean and very modern. Really funky and great value. Downstairs is all one big lounge, restaurant and checkin area with a lovely free buffet breakfast in the morning. Hotel is smack in the centre of town opposite train centre. Parking under the hotel but also a big parking area under the Gaumont cinema 5 mins walk away. Rooms are decent size and nice clean bathrooms with shower. Bed was one of the comfiest I’ve slept on in a hotel for ages. Could do with a glass for water in the rooms but that’s a tiny negative and might be a Covid thing. We brought glasses up from restaurant area. Highly recommended - a great hotel and really good value.

What a great find! A few minutes walk from train station, funky decor, typical size European rooms but very clean comfy and quiet. Staff were very helpful and fun, one going out of her way to find and print info for trains when we wanted to visit Villiers-Bretonneux. Great restaurant on site. Really enjoyed our time here.
