Nemea Appart'Hotel Coliseum Amiens Centre — Hotel in Amiens

We booked this hotel based purely on the information found on Google maps, so I booked because it says it has parking, it doesn't have any parking of its own, you have to hope that you can park on the street somewhere outside, which proved to be quite a challenge when we visited, the information given on Google told me that we could book in from 3 PM, in reality you get there to find a laminated A4 sheet on the door that says that check in is from 5pm, having known that information before I booked,I wouldn't have booked this hotel, in fact I probably would have continued my journey and driven for another 3 hours, which would have assisted me with the rest...

This hotel was nice. The service was good, the room was clean, and it's located on a quiet street just off the main street in the city center. I enjoyed my stay here but there were two odd things about the hotel. First, check-out is at 10am. This is two hours earlier than most hotels. Second, they ask you to take out your own trash to the bins behind the hotel. It wasn't a big deal but I guess for the price, it's worth it. Altogether a rather impressive place. The guys who work here are extremely attentive and seem to perpetually have a smile on their face. If you're booking here you are doing so because it fits a specific criteria of price and location - both of which are incredibly reasonable. You get a whole lot for your money and Amiens after dark is an experience to behold.
