What a wonderful surprise to have such a warm welcome by the hosts of this beautiful home. 6 friends booked for a nights stay. Each room was beautifully appointed, very spacious en-suites, beds extremely comfortable with white linen bedding and lovely soft white towels. The bathrooms all had complimentary soaps for your stay. Great location with lovely views and perfect to walk into the town offering a great selection of places to enjoy lunch and dinner. Delicious Breakfast including freshly baked croissants, bread, home made preserves, freshly squeezed orange juice and the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted. What a wonderful, peaceful b&b. Just 5 minutes walk to the Pilgrims Office but, far enough for you to relax and enjoy a view of the countryside! Run by Genevieve and her husband, Christian, they are absolutely the perfect hosts. He's a retired chef so breakfast is made to order and delicious. Plus, her can drive you around and explain the different Camino trail markings; invaluable if you're a peregrino!!! Great Lana is worth the price to rest up before taking on the Camino de Santiago. Especially if you've traveled a long distance and need to acclimate yourself to the area. It's also a great respite from the hustle and bustle of an Albuergue! We stayed at Christian’s house for two nights before starting our Camino journey, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The house is spotless—immaculately clean and very comfortable. Christian and his wife were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. His wife was especially kind and even offered to do our laundry, which was such a thoughtful touch.
