We usually stay in the Ibis in the old town but we decided to have a change and stay here. We appreciate that this is a budget hotel - the reception and breakfast room were as expected, clean and functional with no frills. The room was also OK, we did a thorough bed inspection (due to recent reports of bed bugs in France) - we were delighted to find a new looking mattress and a spotless mattress topper. The hard flooring is also a good idea and was very clean. The problem was the bathroom, it was possibly the worst bathroom I have seen in a hotel. She was rude and unhelpful. The hotel car park was full and she was not helpful at all in finding another car park - the one that the hotel recommends has a height restriction so we couldn’t use it. ||Other staff members we spoke to after this were much nicer but unfortunately the reception we received really tainted our whole experience.||I wouldn’t recommend...
