We stayed in the hotel and ate in the restaurant. The food is excellent - French cuisine at it's best and very good value. The hotel rooms vary - the standard rooms are small, even by European standards. We stayed in one of the large rooms which was very comfortable. There is a lift but only one and very small, so avoid a higher floor. We stayed in September and it was fairly warm, not hot, but we still required the fan on at night. No AC unfortunately. The hotel is up the hill from the town, close to the spa. An easy walk down to the town but a tiring climb back up. Read moreWhat a lovely hotel, very welcoming and kind owners/staff. We arrived and accidentally scuffed one of the front tyres while parking, creating a snag. The proprietor immediately phoned a garage so that we were reassured that there was no safety problem. And on top of that, allowed us to park in their own garage, because there was no other space left (we had left it too late). That's what I call service and making your guests feel welcome. The rooms (we switched, so tried two) were spotless and provided comfortable accommodation. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with our requests. We didn’t have dinner at the Hotel but clearly it was popular with other guests. Breakfast was superb. You expect good bread/ croissants in France but they were sublime....
