Residence Belvedere is in the perfect location, easy to access both Juan les Pins and old Antibes on foot and to access the train stations. Wat een heerlijk slot aan onze zomervakantie hadden we met een week Antibes in een heel fijn appartement waar alles aanwezig was. Mooi, praktisch ingericht met fijn meubilair. Het was fijn dat we bij aankomst al onze boodschappen deden bij Carrefour, want de nabij liggende kleinere supermarkten zijn erg duur. Goeie tip dus die we vooraf kregen, waar deze te vinden was. Zo klopte ook alle informatie die we ontvingen, zowel van de eigenaar als van degene die ons hartelijk ontving met de sleutels. Beiden Nederlands sprekend. De ligging is voortreffelijk, tegenover een vrij strand (geen verplichte huur van stoelen die op elkaar staan) en op loopafstand van de oude stad, die een gezellige markt, vele restaurants, winkeltjes en het Picassomuseum bevat. Ook de haven is de moeite waard. Voor ieder wat wils! ‘s Avonds was er wel eens overlast op het strand, maar op zo’n mooie plek moet je daarmee rekening houden. We sliepen aan de achterkant, dus ook dat was prettig. Kortom een plek om te koesteren. Juan les Pins is op 20 min loopafstand. We maakten ook gebruik van het openbaar vervoer naar Nice en Monaco met bus en trein....
