This is quite a nice b&b. The positives are the location (close to the centre but in a quieter area) the decor (room was done to a good standard) and the host was kind and flexible (we needed to leave early so he opened breakfast an extra hour early for us which was really appreciated) the downsides are the rooms are quite small and with it being an old creaky building and the rooms close together it is LOUD with other people’s noise. I also felt that quite a few corners were cut here. Only one towel per guest. Cheap layered blankets instead of a good quality duvet. 1 biscuit in the coffee tray for 2 people. The same can also be said for the breakfast. Small basket of bread and croissant on the table with jam and a few small extras on a tiny table. (Small plate of ham and cheese and boiled eggs) the coffee isn’t great and only one type of juice. If I visit Honfleur again I wouldn’t rule this place out as an option but I feel like with a bit more effort it would be a more appealing option...
Read moreWe stayed here for two nights in July 2019. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with lots of quirky features and and amazing decor. The host was friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and lots of lovely furnishings in the room. The bathroom was modern and very clean. There were some lovely touches in the hotel, jars of sweets In the room, coffee and biscuits in reception. Breakfast was excellent and was served at one huge table. It was lovely sitting at the table with other guests of different nationities and chatting away. On the day we left we had to leave before breakfast to catch our ferry. Our host made us a take away breakfast which we appreciated. Parking was available about a five minute walk away, not at the actual property. The hotel is in a great location for walking around Honfleur. Honfleur is a tourist trap and prices are high to eat and drink. Accommodation is expensive in Honfleur but we were happy to stay in such a...
