Best Western Saint Louis rates as one of the best French hotels I have ever stayed in.|Good room, comfortable bed, first class breakfast, and a delightful reception with very helpful staff. Situated in a perfect position across from the 14th Century castle of Vincennes, the hotel is 5 mins from the metro into Paris, or less than 10 mins to the overland railway which takes you into Paris one way. or directly to Disneyworld in the other direction.|And Vincennes - a little Paris without the hassle. Polished pavements, lovely shops, a superb choice of excellent restaurants. After one week staying there I did not want to come home. Botanic gardens, woodland walks, a zoo - all there at your finger tips with Paris center reachable by train or metro, approximately 30 minutes away.|Most of all - Best Western Saint Louis is very 'French' with real French character. |Reception staff went to a great deal of trouble fitting myself and my wife in for an additional night. 10/10 for everything. My daughter lives nearby and we hope to visit Vincennes yearly. Thank you Hotel Saint Louis. We look forward to staying with you...
Read moreChose this hotel because of its central location to where my extended family live. Booked two rooms as the hotel appears to be recently refurbished so has a crisp new look and feel to it…..and very clean!||The hotel is 5 minutes from the metro so very easy to get to and area is super quiet which was amazing.||Every person we encountered at the front desk from the moment we arrived and departed were super and helped with all our questions. Including the housekeeping team.||The only drawback from the room we were allocated (Room 12) was the poorly designed shower. |You have the choice of a rainfall shower or handheld shower.|We landed up only using the handheld shower as using the overhead shower, would quite literally flood the bathroom floor with water. To be fair, the other room (Room 13) we booked was much better designed and didn’t suffer from the same problem.||With the exception of the bathroom of this room,...
Read moreOk so this one is a little tricky. Overall and usually I would give a place like this a 3 stars. First of all it small, the rooms are tiny and weirdly structured. The shared places, even though nicely designd are very limited and the breakfast is very basic. With that been said the hotel is located in one of Paris's most beautiful and cute neighborhoods, it's full of little shops and small Marchants it's not cheap but its special. The prices of the hotel are definitely decent in comparison to other parts of Paris or even the hotel. The main thing is the staff which is very friendly and willing to help. I would not recommend this place for people in need of a wheel chair or even pregnant woman or parents to young babies as the rooms are sometimes 2 floors and not...
