good site but very rude staff. to be fair, all staff were okay except one lady who was there on April 10th around 1pm Paris time. We were confused by the sign and went upstairs which was used for exit. This lady, looks like a staff, without using any respectful words and simply asked us to "go out". I confronted her and asked her if she could be more polite and the attitude was unacceptable. She kept arguing that we were using the wrong path and there was a sign and her attitude actually got worse and more rude and turned into shouting. This has nothing to do with the fluency of English language because when she turned this argument into shouting her English was perfectly fine to express her rudeness. This is simply unacceptable. I will find a right place to file...
Read moreI had a wonderful time visiting Château de Vincennes. I bought a ticket for the tour of the Donjon. It was absolutely wonderful. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable and made the visit quite enojyable. You must go up and down quite a few steps, but since you stop on each floor, it's easy to catch your breath. At the top of the donjon you have a spectacular view of Bois de Vincennes and Paris. This is a view not many people talk about. After the guided visit, you can go into the chapel.
It's very easy to get to the castle on the subway. All you need to do is take Line 1 to Château de Vincennes. After you get out of the subway station, you only need to walk a coule of meters to the entrance...
