1.75 Paris La Source — Hotel in Paris

I don't know where the other people in the reviews went but my experience has been pretty bad. The place is very expensive: 450€/night roughly. At that price you expect proper 5 stars level service. No one was there when I arrived at 10pm, I even received a message saying "checked in, enjoy your stay" while I was still in the train... The place is hidden and not easy to find, it was not a good experience. In the bedroom, not a single "welcome" card or just the TV on with my name on it. Not a single small thing to eat, no minibar... It was quite spacious and clean though. In the morning, breakfast is advertised to start at 7:30am: there was literally no one and nothing ready in the kitchen at 7:50am. Someone arrived and prepared while I was waiting, it was awkward again. The food was ok but definitely not 5 stars. In the night the people from the other room had forgotten their keys in their bedroom. They had to wake me up at 1am to retrieve the emergency number and call someone to open to them. There should be a phone or something in the main living room for people to directly contact the owner or someone. The living room is very small, so you feel packed with everyone else. You hear noises from the other rooms as it's basically a classical Parisian flat transformed into a "hotel". Frankly for 200€ a night and 3 stars I would have been perfectly satisfied. ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE

I had booked this place through Booking.com and received several confirmations via WhatsApp and email, with links asking me to complete check-in steps. Everything seemed organized until I arrived. There was absolutely no one there. No reception, no bell, no staff, and none of the phone numbers worked.

I stood there with my luggage, completely alone. No one ever answered my calls or messages, not even later. I ended up crying on the street and had to find another hotel on the same day which completely ruined my trip and left me traumatized throughout my stay.

It felt like a ghost place unsafe, unprofessional, and absolutely unreliable. I paid through Booking.com and received nothing in return. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

They kept sending me random links on WhatsApp completely outside of Booking.com asking me to “choose my room” and pay an extra €10 or €20 for an upgrade.
