We had an amzing experience. We arrived a little late but the staff was kind and understanding. The waitress who served our table was verry kind, explained the concept verry clearly. I can understand some of the previous reviews that say that some of the staf is rude or at least looks non intrested, but let's be honnest. We are here for the food. The waitress who served us knew her job verry well. A little bit pricy but we are in paris so i understand. The interior is just right and fits the overall concept of the restaurant. About the food. We first had the mezze platter wich was amazing. A had a lot of mezze before but nothing came close to this! Fresh warm pita bread, the best tzaziki i ever had and so much more. The girls had the Orzo dish, i tasted and i was verry well prepared. Nothing special but still coocked to perfection. I had the lamb chops with a side of the mashed potato and of course the extra truffle. The waitress told me the truffle mashed potato was worth it so I followed her advice and it didn't dissapoint! The lamb was coocked really nicely. I didn't understand the roasted avocado but that's just because i"m not a huge avocadolover. The drinks. The moctail Arthemis was ok but nothing more, it needs more flavour and maybe an axtra greek touch. The ladies had the chardonay and for this price i would expect that it would be a better chardonay but still nothing really wrong. Then i had the pinot noir wich was good but nothing more. We also tasted the chablis, same comment as the chardonay. The doubble espresso i ordered was a lot better! The real stuff 😅. We will be back here And hope that we will have the same experience as yesterday!!! Thanks to the staff and the chef for the amazing meal, experience and setting!!!!! Maybe try to get better wines. We are in france!

A Taste of Greece in Paris Kalamata in Paris is a good choice if you're craving some Greek food in the city of lights. The atmosphere is truly immersive, and you'll feel like you've been transported to a taverna in Athens. However, the food is a bit pricey, and the service can be too direct at times, making the experience less enjoyable. The highlight of Kalamata in Paris is the authentic Greek ambiance, which is created by the decor and the music. The place is cozy and intimate, and the staff is friendly, but the service can be too brisk, which detracts from the overall experience. As for the food, it's tasty and flavorful, but the prices are a bit steep, especially considering the portion sizes. If Kalamata in Paris wants to earn another star, they could add more novelty to the menu, as well as consider adjusting their prices to make the food more accessible to a wider range of customers. Additionally, the staff could be more attentive to guests' boundaries, and the music could be turned down a bit to create a more relaxed atmosphere. Overall, if you're looking for a unique and immersive dining experience, Kalamata in Paris is worth a visit. But be prepared to pay a premium for the ambiance and the cuisine. While I enjoyed my visit, I'm not sure if I would recommend it to everyone. However, if you're a fan of Greek food and culture, you'll likely appreciate what Kalamata in Paris has to offer.

Avoid at all costs!! I booked the festive dining at this restaurant for 2 people well in advance of my trip to Paris and received a confirmation email from them. I then received a WhatsApp message from Margaux on the day to say that the main hall was fully booked and we were being seated downstairs but we could join upstairs at the bar for drinks after our food. I explained to her that we only booked this restaurant for the festive dining and that the atmosphere wouldn’t be the same downstairs (where there are two tables) also not to mention the €120 minimum spend pp). Margaux then messaged to confirm that she has a table for us in the main hall. When we turn up to the restaurant, the waitress says that our table is downstairs and I explained to her that Margaux had said we were in the main hall. When I spoke to Margaux at the restaurant she just shrugged her shoulders and said this is your table and we can go upstairs for drinks later but she still couldn’t reassure us that there would be a table at the bar for us. She was so rude and unhelpful!! If we had known sooner that we were being seated downstairs we would have booked another restaurant but it was then too late to book somewhere else as it was so late and they completely ruined our evening.

I wish I could give this restaurant 5 stars, but our experience being seated was an absolute nightmare, it warrants a 1-star rating. We made a reservation for 4 people, and when we arrived, the restaurant had simply added a small round table to the end of the first row of tables (seating us right at the top of the stairs). At most the table could have fit food for 2 people. What they did was used the booth seat, added a chair to the other side and one to the side (which would mean your back is facing the stairs). That, still, only seats 3. When we asked what the deal was, the hostess told us we’d need to ask the woman sitting in the booth seat next to us to move over so we could sit 2 people in the booth. They wanted us to ask this poor woman to share her seat, which would move her off her table, so we could sit our 4th. This still meant our 4th would either be sharing our neighbour’s 2-person table and/or not be able to eat off/reach our table. We were discussing leaving, but luckily a larger party had left and we had to demand to move over there (no one seemed to bat an eye at our seating situation. Simply had new guests walking up squeeze through us. Once we were moved to the other table, we looked over and noticed they didn’t seat anyone (not even a party of 2) at the table they tried to force the 4 of us to sit at. Seems those types of tables are specially reserved for the melanated (another group of 3 were seated on the other side of the stairs at a table that was meant for 2. Meaning 1 girl had her back towards the stairs as well, which is why guests were having to squeeze through. We all had that one thing in common).

Regardless, the space is very pretty, the other guests were extremely pleasant to speak to, the servers were nice enough, and the food was quite good. The Cod was perfect, the lamb chops were great, and the gnocchi was so heavy, rich, and full of flavour (and I’m not the biggest fan of gnocchi).

Be fair with seating. That was very embarrassing, and I felt horribly for the woman we were seated next to. She and her partner had made reservations same way we had and everyone else in that space. She did not deserve to have her dinner interrupted, or to be made to make space for another body in what...

A friendly reminder for everyone to stay away from this restaurant. I wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars but that is not possible so therefore I give it a 1. When we walked in we were greeted by a lady who looked like the most unhappy person to have that job. She was a hostess, a waiter and a Ms.Attitude. We were originally booked for the main restaurant at 10 pm where entertainment was supposed to happen, they then messaged us and told us that we can come at 8:15 and not the original time for downstairs. I texted them and told them to cancel and they said they would have to charge us so I HAD to go, but I noticed many people left disappointed without getting charged. While we were there 20 people came with the same situation. Downstairs is high top BROKEN chairs with no back support at all, to make this matter worse every time that the Ms.Attitude lady wanted to pass she would physically push me to get me to move without saying “excuse me. The most ironic part of this is there is a 1000 euro steak and they expect you to eat it in their horribly furnished restaurant with those awful chairs that ruined my dress. Everytime that lady would bring something to our table we would say thank you she wouldn’t say anything but roll her eyes, she continuously gave disgusting looks to my daughter when she would help her move everything for her. I ended up calling the manager but I’m gonna make sure to get the contact for the owner because he clearly doesn’t know what’s going on in this restaurant. The food and drinks were awful and we have never had a tomahawk that bad. There was no presentation on the drinks whatsoever. I’ve been to Greece and this restaurant is NOT a taste of the Greek cuisine. There’s better places to...
