What a great skiing holiday my two son's and I had. From the ease of the coach connection from South Mimms, the professionalism of the coach drivers, comfort of the coach and ease of travel down to the Alps made this a great start to our holiday. We arrived on time at 0800 on Saturday in Valmeinier with a warm reception from the staff. Breakfast was ready for us and off we went skiing for the rest of the day. We are new to the Valmeinier ski area and being experienced skiers found the whole ski area well connected with good runs for all standards and to our surprise, large in skiable area. If I had one criticism, some of the lifts could do with some updating by creating faster lifts. Our accommodation was great for the money. The ensuite room we had was comfortable and large for the three of us. The hotel amenities were great - lounge, dining areas, bar, games room, hot tub and sauna. We received a good breakfast each morning (hot and cold options), cakes and beverages at 4pm, and a great 4 course meal each evening with free wine. I'd like to thank the chefs and kitchen staff for what was a good variety and great quality of food over the 7 days. The staff in the hotel were fantastic - friendly, helpful and very easy going. Nothing was an issue and everyone mingled well during our stay. They kept us entertained each evening with games and various entertainment, so a big thankyou to them. We had amazing weather whilst we were there with four good dumps in the evenings and blue bird days which made our own Off Piste adventures unbelievable over the 8 days of skiing. We spent some time with Neil (red/black) social ski guide, who was such a great guy with an amazing character. Big thankyou Neil. Our return journey home on the Saturday evening was just as comfortable, and being tired from so much skiing over the 8 days, we all slept practically all the way home. Finally we met some great people both guests and staff, and this holiday would not have been the same if this didn't existed. My boys have said that this was one of their best ski holiday, and they have skied all over the world, and to be fair I would have to agree. So a big thankyou to everyone at Snow Coach and we are definitely thinking of returning very soon. Keep up the great work guys!

We absolutely love our ski holiday in Valneinier with Snowcoach. We are regulars and we have been many times but it never disappoints us to return. When we go elsewhere on occasion we always say 'back to Val next year then'. Getting 8 days skiing in makes coach travel so worthwhile. The coaches are comfortable and the drivers are really professional. We just treat it as a bit of an adventure. The hotel is really well located to get straight out on the slopes and the shops, bars and restaurants are right outside. Easy access to all areas for skiing. It was particularly good to see some upgrades in furnishings, carpets and bathrooms. This made such a difference to the general look of the hotel. The staff are all great and go over and above to make sure everyone feels welcomed and looked after. We always enjoy the social skiing as we make some new friends along the way. It's a fun way to explore the mountain. There are usually 2 groups of ability so you don't need to feel pressure to ski faster and harder if you don't want to. Just join the cruisy blues group 😃. Plus having ski and boot hire in the building makes this so easy to organise as well. The food is always good. Tasty and plenty of it. Served with complimentary wine at dinner. The bar is comprehensive too. Tables seat about 10-12 so you get to socialise with other guests and staff. Activities are arranged most nights with Giant Jenga and the quizz being popular. Other evening excursions to the bars also good to join. POverall, a really inclusive and welcoming atmosphere makes this one of our favourite holidays of the year. See you again in Feb/Mar next year 😃

The best skiing holiday I've had in years! Going by coach was a really good choice because we were able to enjoy skiing for 8 days including on both Saturdays. Those two days were very quiet on the slopes. The coach is also much much more convenient than travelling by air and I will definitely be doing it again. The drivers were great. The ferry was great. The coach was comfortable. Far less hassle! The atmosphere was like being in one big happy family. Everybody was sociable and friendly. The staff were all part of the family too. Skiing from this hotel was super convenient with only a 50 yard walk to put your skis on and get on a lift or ski down a slope. The food was fantastic and plentiful. Because of the communal dining experience I was often able to enjoy seconds and sometimes even thirds :-) The afternoon cakes were lovely and I particularly enjoyed the flapjacks and the lemon drizzle. I made good use of the sauna and the outdoor jacuzzi. It was great fun sitting in the warm hot tub whilst being snowed on so we all had white hair :-) This was the first time that my family and I had been to this hotel. What we noticed was that everybody else had been before and were returning for the second, third, fourth, fifth or even tenth time. I've never been anywhere that inspired such loyalty but I can completely understand why people come back. I will definitely be back. Thanks for a great holiday. You were fabulous. Mark
