Hôtel Costa Salina — Hotel in Sartène

We stayed at this hotel between 7-14 August and have enjoyed a relaxing break here. The hotel is well located around the marina and close to the harbour restaurants and also a 15 minute walk to the Old Town which is very nice for an evening meal out with a nice atmosphere.||The hotel is very clean, the staff are all very polite and hard working and the pool side food and drink service is really good. Nothing is too much trouble.||We stayed in the larger comfort room and the marina view is nice and the room|Is very spacious with a super comfortable bed. The reception team have been great - they put fruit and champagne in our room for 25th anniversary - an unprompted surprise.||The hotel pool is very nice with plenty of shade and sunbeds and they offer cabanas at no charge. There is a wide choice of lunchtime food and drinks.||The hotel is ideally located to explore the beaches of south Corsica at Saint Gulia and Palambaggia - although most people hire a car, we managed by taking the local buses to the beach as well as a day trip to Bonafacio.||We have enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it to people wishing to explore...

Three day stay from 29th September. Weather was not very good on a couple of days which was a shame as we could not make best use of the pool. There was a very end of season feel about the place with facilities like the restaurant not being open in the evening and only limited service by the pool. The room was pleasant enough. I just wish that when they give you god team and coffee making facilities you would get a few milk capsules.||||The hotel is located between the main port area and the ferry terminal which has big ferries a couple of times a day which is no problem at all.||||There are many restaurants and bars nearby in the port area and many more in the Porto Vecchio old town up the hill. There is a little free electric bus service which follows a few routes and takes you into the town to save the walk uphill. There is a shortcut walk back down worth finding. ||||We ordered a taxi back to Figari airport through the hotel on a Sunday afternoon and thought is was pretty expensive at €90 for a 25 min 22k drive.||||We had earlier in the trip stayed in Bonifacio which is very different to...

Sehr nettes und absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel! Wir haben hier auf unserer Korsika Reise einen 5-tägigen Zwischenstop eingelegt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Das Hotel liegt am Südende des Hafens von Porto Vecchio. Es verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz und von hier lässt sich die Altstadt sehr gut fußläufig erreichen. Es gibt aber auch einen kostenlosen Elektro-City-Bus mit dem man sich bequem hoch zur Bastion fahren lassen kann. Das Hotel selbst fällt schon beim Einchecken durch das besonders freundliche Personal und die geschmackvolle Einrichtung auf. Auch die Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen ist besonders hervorzuheben. Das Zimmer (Kategorie Komfortzimmer) war sehr geräumig und mit Blick auf das Meer. Auch hier: Toll eingerichtet und sehr sehr sauber. Wasser steht im Zimmer kostenlos zur Verfügung und eine kleine Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine ergänzt das schöne Gesamtpaket. Das Frühstück war besonders toll. Ein reichhaltiges Angebot mit wirklich frischen Säften, Cerealien, Schinken, Käse, Joghurt, frisch zubereiteten Eiergerichten, Pancakes, selbstgemachtem Gebäck angefangen vom Baguette über Pain au Chocolat, Croissants, Bananenkuchen uns so sonstigen herrlichen Dinfen. Aber Achtung, wenn wir es richtig mitbekommen haben, gibt es Abstufungen beim Frühstück, bei unserer Buchung über das Reisebüro war jedenfalls das volle Angebot inkludiert und das lohnt sich wirklich!

Zu Mittag gibt es ein Lunchangebot, das wir nicht genutzt haben, weil wir immer unterwegs waren, aber 1einmal pro Woche gibt es einen Brunch und der hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Besonders hervorzuheben war der am Grill zubereitete Thunfisch und auch die Süßspeisen waren wieder ein Gedicht. Wie wir herausgefunden haben, ist das Hotel ein Familienbetrieb und das merkt man einfach an vielen kleinen Details. Neben den vielen selbstgemachten Speisen zum Frühstück und beim Brunch (da haben wir beispielsweise auch selbst angesetzten Rum vom Juniorchef verkosten dürfen - fantastisch!) ist das unter anderem auch der wunderbar angelegte und gepflegte Garten rund um den Poolbereich. Nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Ein paar Pflanzen oder andere Accessoires im Frühstücksraum wären schön, damit dieser ein bisschen gemütliche wird, aber ansonsten: Absolut empfehlenswert und danke für die...
