한ꔭ읞 ìŁŒì˜ I rarely write reviews but this place definitely deserves one. Would have given a zero star if i could and if food wasn’t decent but the food was okay. Steak was too rare and had to send it back to the kitchen. The staff was passive aggressive but nice at the same time so im not sure what they were trying to do. Not sure if it’s the french culture but they started to take away the plates that were unfinished. I handed her the plate that we clearly finished and waved my hands when she was taking the other plates. Simply got the wave ignored and our plates were gone. I would have understood what her intentions were if the place was crowded but it wasn’t. We were the only group that was dining with one other table. What was worse is that she put the bill on our table while we were drinking and eating. I am not sure jf she wanted us to leave because we were going to order more but the intention was very clear. If your customers are eating, don’t throw the bill on the table when they are still dining. We had the bill sitting for few minutes because we were still dining like duh, she came to the table with the payment device and asked us to pay and then request to input service tip on the screen if we wanted. When you are asking for a tip there are two simple manners. Serve your customers well Look away from the device. Stop putting peer pressure on them. I wasn’t the one on the device but if i was, I would have tipped -10%. This is a very honest review and if this gets deleted I will make sure that my review stays somewhere in the...

Delightful French cuisine, charming ambience, and a quaint setting—conveniently located right next to the Palace of Versailles. We had dinner here after our visit to the palace and were thoroughly impressed. We ordered the salmon poke bowl, fish and chips, and salmon tartare. While the food took a little time to arrive, it was well worth the wait—each dish was absolutely delicious. The fish in the fish and chips had a perfectly crispy coating that made it stand out.

The desserts, however, were the true stars. The homemade cheesecake was elevated by a tangy red berry sauce, and the chocolate cake—made with buckwheat flour and topped with fresh whipped cream and berries—was simply divine. But the showstopper was the banana bread, served with a generous dollop of mascarpone, nuts, and berries—it completely stole my heart.

The restaurant also has a lovely terrace with views of the palace, shaded by trees and overlooking the road. A fantastic dining experience—highly...

An extraordinary place! Right next to The Versailles Palace a tiny restaurant with a terrace looking straight at the palace gate. If you are hungry or simply want to grab a bite with your coffee - you must stop by. Atmosphere: very cozy, warm and pleasant atmosphere. The welcoming of the place is accompanied by the kind smile on the staff faces. Price: we were stunned with the final check. Two double espresso, two burgers and a Cesar salad for 80€. We haven't seen such decent price, next to a monument, in any of the places we've visited (be it Hungary, Italy or Germany). Food: soft and fluffy brioch, Dijon mustard sauce, and caramelized onion together with good quality beef patties make the burger light but filling. The Cesar salad was with crispy chicken which wasn't expected at all. But it just added it's uniqueness to the salad. Btw we had a feeling that Mayo was homemade which makes the dish special. Hope to visit them again, next time we are...

I found a little gem 8 minutes from the Castle’s internal entrance (so 4 minutes from the main gate / parking), right next to the bus parking. The name is La Guinguette and the service is wonderful, welcoming and the food is delicious. Reasonable pricing too. In less than 1 hr I had a very nice 3 course meal outside, where two youngsters did magic with the kitchen team. They never stopped fo ra minute, worked perfectly together, well organized and without a mistake. MIght be young, but great waiters both (and kudos to the kitchen staff too, who delivered food super fast, and the other boy carried huuuuuuge plates with 5-6 servings on it!) Oh, and one of the three restaurants In France so far who were willing to understand my French and perfectly served all my ordered food. What a pleasant surprise. Note, in low season, I still had to wait 10-15 minutes for the table, but it was worth it.
