Hostel Violet — Hotel in Tbilisi

So, I spent one week here. It's nice having the privacy of your own room at a decent price. However I felt the need to move on rapidly. The rooms have no windows. Two nights I woke up at 3am gasping for air. There is a serviceable kitchen, however, I found the single induction stovetop to have only two settings; hot and extremely hot. Not how I like to cook. Which leads into my main contention. The staff. If I use the kitchen and a shred of cabbage or whatever escapes me when I clean up after myself I expect staff to be capable of dealing with it in an emotionally mature manner. Instead I was spoken to as though I was a naughty dog. "No!" "Bad!". Nah. You do not speak to me like that... I don't care if you can't speak more than a dozen words in English. Learn some which are more polite and fix your tone... So, I make an effort to attempt to speak in Georgian. This was met with ridicule and laughter. These Georgians make it abundantly clear how much they dislike Russians yet they speak Russian and not English. It's hilarious. I'm not Russian, as an aside. Needless to say I found a far more welcoming environment elsewhere very easily. Great place to stay if...

They have called me in the middle of the night , some rude most likely indian lady , almost screaming out of her lungs. damanding answer why I have not arrived at the hotel. when I already had my reservation cancelled. this is rude their customer service is owfull, have been in many countires and many places and never seen such an awfull call in the middle of the night. never going to stay in...

(Stayed 12th May 2025) I stayed at this place for about 1 week and i had an awesome time being spent here, the host from Iran was very helpful, friendly and speak very good English , can cook own food but have only 1 induction stove, having 3 clean washrooms

I would like to suggest one thing that they should Accept card payments also, as they only accept cash
