A very mixed experience! Come here if you don’t like intrusive waiters constantly asking you about your meal or if you’d like to experience what it’s like to be completely forgotten about!

I came in on a Sunday afternoon, at the same time as a rather large group, expecting a rather quick and casual dinner. But alas! After I snatched a menu from a neighbouring table and picked a dish to sate my hunger. A short while passed by and I saw no waiters in my area (small, round tables by the courtyard windows) other than those walking between the main dining hall and the courtyard but I figured the big party with a reservation required their care more urgently and so decided to pass time by directing my attention to my pocket “Pride and Prejudice” (did you know there’s a Bollywood adaptation titled “Bride and Prejudice”? Quite a tolerable flick in my opinion). Unfortunately it would be almost 30 pages, intermittent with some eye-locking and smiles directed at the waitstaff to no avail, until a lovely waitress would come to take my order of shkmeruli and black tea. The tea arrived rather quickly accompanied by a small cube of delicious brownie though one cannot help but wonder if a glass is the appropriate vessel - perhaps this is why the water wasn’t as hot as it ought to be resulting in an under extracted beverage. It would then be another 20 or so pages of slow Hertfordshire life until my food arrived. Now this is the peripeteia of this review! The succulent chicken and the rich sauce made this without doubt the best shkmeruli I have ever had! Freshly baked bread was the perfect accoutrement for it too and I nigh forgot about the long wait I had to endure. After I’d finished the chicken, cleaned the bowl and gnawed on the bones, it was time to return to the book as there was, again, no sign of anyone coming neither to take the dishes nor to ask if I’d enjoyed the meal nor to bring the bill. A person I took to be the manager came after some (significant) time and I asked for the bill which was, fortunately, delivered promptly.

TL;DR: Fantastically delicious food but extremely inattentive staff so prepare for either long waits, chasing the waitstaff, or perhaps make yourself impossible to be missed? Bring a book if you’re coming alone.

Yesterday, around 12:00, I made a reservation for a table at midnight for 5 people. We arrived about 5 minutes late (as I know, a reservation is usually held for 15 minutes), and then I spent quite a while trying to find a manager to confirm the reservation and be seated at the table we had booked. The manager disappeared, and we waited for him about 10-15 minutes. When he finally reappeared, he said that due to the confusion, he would offer us complimentary drink.

Eventually, a table became available on its own, and we decided to take it, as standing in the hallway waiting for someone to take action seemed pointless. By that time we had already been at the restaurant for over 20 minutes. I had to fetch the menus myself and place our order at the bar. We decided to order only drinks, as we couldn’t afford to wait another hour for a food. In total we ordered 4 cocktails, 2 beers and 2 portions of mixed nuts, but nuts plate were never brought to us.

Later, the manager found me and said he had been looking for us, and that our reserved table was now ready. Unfortunately, by then, we had already been in the restaurant for around 40 minutes, so we had already taken care of everything on our own. Our cocktails didn’t arrive until 1 AM, (quick reminder that our reservation was for midnight). I understand that the restaurant was fully booked, but our table wasn’t even wiped down after the previous guests. Having to call the waiter ten times just to get some basic service was very unpleasant.

When we were getting ready to leave, I asked the same manager for the bill, which of course included 2 nuts plates we never received. He did remove them right away. As for his earlier promise to offer a complimentary cocktail due to the long wait, he clearly forgot about that. My boyfriend asked him about this, but he didn’t respond. I didn’t remind him, as we were already tired and just wanted to leave. Paying was never the issue, but given the lack of service, I would have appreciated at least a discount to acknowledge the inconvenience.

When I make a reservation, I expect to be seated right away and served drinks within a reasonable amount of time (10 minutes), not to wander around, searching for a place to seat my guests, tracking down menus, and trying to flag down a server just to place an order.

Well this review is definitely not gonna be short

I have a lot of feelings about this place and can’t decide where to start from, I fell in love immediately from the very first visit, i was visiting my hometown for couple weeks and one of my friends took me there and since, i visited the place for almost every day for the rest of the stay, i was able to relax, i felt unbelievably comfy and for the person with ADHD it very big deal, as well as privacy, i have seen place, crowded and slightly occupied too but my privacy wasn’t invaded at all, even when I visited with big group of friends and place was absolutely packed we still had our privacy.

FOOD Ohh the holly lord, i just don’t know how to explain this feeling by words, the food was absolutely divine for me, only by remembering my experience there now waters my mouth 🤤🤤🤤 I honestly struggle living in Europe without their food. The menu is created absolutely perfectly.

COCKTAILS Where beyond delicious, perfect balance of flavors and the simplicity which follows concept of the whole place in general, represented nicely in cocktails🍸 my personal favorite was Gisele💜

MUSIC 🎶 I always say that music can make you stay or stand up and leave. This is the case when music made me stay until they stopped playing which was 2 AM for the record 🤣🤣. It let me to have a perfect conversation with my company without feeling of screaming, and made me dance like nobody’s watching. It was perfect combination of house, techno, groovy, lounge, soul and jazz. This is what you get when you have a professional who makes playlist for you and big respect for that. This is a very professional approach to the business.

SERVICE The place won’t run itself, service that I experienced was exquisite, They were fast as they could depending on occupancy, very efficient, friendly, welcoming and humble, basically very professional. They made sure that experience was amazing, and i had nothing to worry about. giving all my credits to the stuff members. Great job guys. Absolutely in love with you.❤️

I’ve had my lifetime experience, and thank you all for creating the incredible idea and executing it perfectly. I can’t wait to see how this place will grow because i believe this place will create a lot of history ❤️❤️❤️ can’t wait to visit again.
