A disappointing and disgusting experience.
Our stay at Hotel Leonet from June 23 to June 27, 2025, was disappointing on several levels. At the time of booking, we were assured that secure parking for our motorcycles would be available. Upon arrival, this turned out to be false. We were directed to several parking garages that did not allow motorcycles, and it took us over 90 minutes to find a suitable spot on our own.
Shortly after booking, we received multiple emails appearing to come from the hotel, which turned out to be phishing attempts. The hotel never issued any warning or follow-up about this, which we find extremely irresponsible.
The check-in experience was chaotic. The receptionist spoke barely any English, was unhelpful, and kept interrupting the check-in to assist other guests or give directions. This left a disorganized and unwelcoming first impression.
The condition of the room was unacceptable: mold on the walls, stained carpets, and in the corridors, visible bloodstains from squashed insects. The overall level of cleanliness was far below standard.
The breakfast was minimal and poorly maintained — items that should have been cold, like cheese, were warm, and on one morning, there was no bread at all.
To make matters worse, on our final day, we discovered bed bugs in the room. This is a serious health issue and completely inexcusable in any accommodation.
Following our stay, we attempted to contact the hotel multiple times to report our experience and express our concerns. Unfortunately, we received no response whatsoever. The complete lack of follow-up or accountability further highlights the poor management and service.

Read moreSeriously one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I went out last night and for my surprise a friend of mine from Canada booked this hotel as a little surprise so I could stay near to where I was partying in.
The room smelled weird, extremely old fashioned (normally it’s fine, but not here). Bathroom is mediocre, toilet wasn’t flushing correctly, the shower head wobbly and did not really do it’s job properly.
The check in was tedious, unprofessional, and on top of that I had to pay €7,02 for city tax for one night!? After the room being €150 already! A room that at its max should cost barely even €50!
The people are aren’t at all kind either! Quite rude and quite lazy too. Before checking out I went for breakfast, this was around 9:40am, the breakfast, or what was left of it (not a lot) was mediocre at best. Bread did not taste nor feel fresh, there was no bacon left (or whatever may have been in that tray) there were quite a fee things missing. The guy walking around could not understand that I wanted plain water, without gas. He insisted with me that the big bottle of water he has brought to me was plain water, when it obviously was not!!! So I left the breakfast room and went to check out…
The woman at reception did bring me two small bottles of plain water after I complained about what happened at the breakfast room… but she wasn’t really too excited to help out, such a bored expression, looking quite angry at the same time, like she did not want to work at all. I checked out but she couldn’t even care, barely looked at me nor smiled, nothing, not a word from her when I said I wanted to check out, took the keys and that was it.
The only good thing is the breakfast room is quite beautiful!
