I really enjoyed the food. We were with 4 people and we all got something different. I got the veggie one with tofu and tempeh. There was this vegetable which was very chewy and i couldn't eat so i picked those out eventually. The person with me got one with pork, but there was barely any meat and halve an egg. With the veggie ramen they also added 3 gyozas, very delicious. The veggie ramens were more expensive than the once with meat, which was surprising. The atmosphere was cozy and cute, but i dont know if it were the people who walked in or something in the restaurant, but at the end there was this foul smell i could not shake. You do get a big bowl of ramen, but for 19,8 for tofu, tempeh, vegetables and noodles. Its a bit too much for me while the meat once were around 15/16 euros. Eventually we left no crumbs, but overal a 4/5, because the service was good and fast. The atmosphere was good (except at the end, but i do not know what the reason for it would be) but the price and...
Read moreHonest review from a Japan, Ramen lover:
I ordered a ramen without pork but with chicken – however, it was served without any meat. The chicken was added afterward, but also charged extra, without informing me about the additional cost in advance. As a result, my meal became unnecessarily expensive and, sadly, was suprisingly disappointing in taste. Since my chicken was a side dish chicken, and not chicken added to my ramen as wished it dient really added to the taste of my ramen. As there are ramen with chicken for less of a price.
To be honest, my instant noodle soup for €1–2 actually tastes better – something I really didn’t expect. It definitely won’t be my last noodle soup, but it will be my last one from this place.
The definite reason why I won’t give this place a second chance: Friendly faces don't automatically mean good service – and unfortunately, that became clear again today.
Writing this I m eating my instant noodle soup just after the restaurant. Not joking,...
Read moreThe worst Takumi Ramen we have been. We’ve been to several locations of Takumi ramen so we know what to expect while realizing one might taste better than the others. But this one is very bad, we ordered takoyaki & ramen. The takoyaki is not properly warmed, they are warm from outside but cold inside. The ramen is worse, the noodles are not cooked well just yet. They might need several minutes longer to be done. The waiter & waitress are not friendly, we ordered water but they never came. We had to ask for chopsticks because they didn’t provide us when they served us the food we ordered. Also never once they asked if the foods are okay or checking how the customers opinions are. We left almost the whole ramen (only eat couple of bites but we couldn’t digest it) and decided to just pay. And last when we paid the cashier didn’t ask if we want the receipt or not. Very disappointing experience. At least we know that we will never...
