Guesthouse is intended to be fully self-sustaining, as in no need to talk to anyone. Booking includes key code to enter the building, key code to the room key. There are multiple houses/buildings to stay in and the key opens: building, room and maintenance/cleaning services. Rooms are nice for basic overnight stays, no TV, no soap/shampoos, and full self-cleaning is expected. Location is 2 blocks away from city transportation and the main Train station. Dragging luggage from the Train station is possible while I would recommend taking a taxi the short distance. Definitely a short budget stay for quick trips. Was a cheap option to stay in Freiburg and study at Goethe for 3 weeks, a lot of students in the course stay there. There is a communal kitchen and dinning/study area. You are given one set of utensils and some plates, a bowl and some cookware. The bed is somewhere in between soft and hard. They replace the bedding every week and provide a basic room clean (vacuumand mop) and rubbish removal once a week as well. Ich bin für 2 Wochen hier untergekommen. Das Außenzimmer in welchem ich wohnte, war von der Lautstärke relativ angenehm, nur manchmal nachts waren Lautstarke Gespräche im Gang oder ähnliches zu hören, worauf ich mich jedoch eingestellt hatte, da hier viele internationale, junge Menschen untergebracht sind. Die Unterkunft ist ein Mittelweg zwischen Jugendherberge und Ferienwohnung, es gibt Gemeinschaftsküchen und Aufenthaltsräume, und im Zimmer ist eine Kiste mit dem nötigsten Koch und Essbesteck vorhanden. Auch ein Mini Kühlschrank und eigenes Bad gehörten zum Zimmer, welches einmal in der Woche gereinigt wird. Die Möbel waren alle in gutem Zustand und das Bett bequem. Die Erreichbarkeit bei Anliegen musste ich mir zunächst erfragen, da ich einen alten Informationsordner im Zimmer hatte. Dies habe ich jedoch dann gemeldet und man versicherte mir, diese zu aktualisieren. Auch eine Waschmöglichkeit auf dem Gelände sowie Wöchentlicher Wäsche Wechsel (Handtücher, Bettwäsche) ist möglich. WLAN muss man zusätzlich im Büro erwerben, dass jedoch momentan nicht täglich besetzt ist. Aber alles in allem war es für mein Anliegen eine angenehme Unterkunft, ich hatte einen Tisch zum Arbeiten und war sonst auch viel unterwegs. Leider sind die oberen Zimmer nur über eine Treppe erreichbar. Ob diese Unterkunft somit für Rollstuhlfahrer*innen geeignet ist, glaube ich nicht, da die Bäder selbst und auch der Zugang sehr schmal geschnitten ist, bei solchen Anliegen würde ich mich vorher mit dem Personal in Verbindung setzen.
