B&B HOTEL Heidelberg — Hotel in Heidelberg

Overall B&B hotel Heidelberg was not bad. Staffs are kind . The family room is also good condition and enough space to bring many luggage. The bath room is also good. As a short and budgetary purpose with a family, it looks to be good choice. But as expected there are no refrigerator, coffee pot, guest kitchen.

But, what I did not expect and surprised was that the hotel (including the reception) was closed in the Sunday afternoon (12:00 - 17:00, Aug-20, 2023). To make matters worse, there was no notice at all when I checked in on Saturday. Accordingly, I needed to changed the schedule to pick up the left luggage in the hotel before noon, and I also saw some customers were waiting to be checked in, and left somewhere... I think that B&B hotel Heidelberg is not small to close the reception in the Sunday afternoon and people does not expect so. Nevertheless, there should be a sort of notice in the reception desk or web page. Good communication is one of the key to keep the business.

Price quality is really okay, but expect a few things that could be better. 1)So is the breakfast room way too little for all the people 2) the acoustics in the breakfast room are really bad, so you hear all the people way too good 3) there are too little parking spaces for all the people 4) we've added a suggestions (for example for gluten free options) during the booking through the website but when we came there they hadn't read it all and no sorry was there

Besides that it was really okay for the price though I think breakfast is way overpriced. Wouldn't do that again but breakfast somewhere in the beautiful city Heidelberg. Rooms are not big but comfortable and pretty clean.

For us it was fine for one night and maybe 2 but for longer stays I would recommend something else

The hotel is very close to the main train station. Not too far from the old town and has good tram connection (1hr by feet, 25-35 by tram). The room was clean. I would like it to be a bit cleaner and to know when the cleaning service has been or not in my room. The room was not too big but also not to small. I was in Heidelberg for a business trip and the room was what I needed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well designed and everything was in a hands reach. The breakfast was... good. The reception and all hotel employs were very friendly and helpful I would appreciate if the breakfast was not that plain. A beacon, sausage or omelette would be appreciated. Something freshly cooked.1 I do not understand why the hotel does not offer a bottle of water. I am OK for not having a fridge in the room, but water is a necessity.
