We were very pleased with our accommodation at SUYTES. We had a large suite with kitchen, dining area, living room and a separate bedroom. The suite was modern and clean. The bathroom was large, with plenty of counter space for toiletries and several outlets for charging devices. The kitchen was complete with refrigerator, stove, oven and dishwasher. Dishes, pots and pans and utensils are included. There were two patios in the suite. A/C and in-room safe. The bed was firm and very comfortable, with crisp white linens. The only minor complaint about the suite is that there was a lack of sufficient lighting; only two tiny reading lamps in the bedroom, and dim lamps in the living/dining area. The building has a laundry facility but there is a €15 charge to use it. Rooms were cleaned daily, but otherwise service was minimal. There is a reception desk, but it is not staffed after about 4 pm. There is a lockbox system for late check in. There is no restaurant. The location is a little isolated, about 850 metres from the train station, and 3 km from the tourist old town, and not many...
Read moreI stayed here during the recent opening weekend for the DTM series at Hockenheimring, Heidelberg is about 15-20 minutes away from the circuit so was in a good location.||I arrived a little late on the Friday I was staying so had to speak to a call centre via phone as the staff are only at reception until 6pm each day. Once I had spoken with them and confirmed my details they gave me a pin number to unlock a safe box with my entry cards for the apartment in.||The apartment was clean and a decent size and had full air conditioning, there was shower with two heads in the bathroom. There was a kitchenette, but I never got around to using it, there is a selection of fast food restaurants within 3-5 minutes walking.||There was a balcony which I only briefly used, Suytes is currently working to improve them.||I'd definitely stay here again, hopefully next time I'll get time to...
Read moreSuytes business hotel is strategically located close to the Montpellierbrücke tram/bus stop and Heidelberg central train station. The neighborhood itself isn't too pretty, but the city centre is walkable (about 20-25mins, or less by taking the tram for the first half of the journey).
We didn't encounter any staff until departure, check-in was accommodated via key card in a locker. Which worked fine and there was an internet page with all information and service options.
The room itself was okay. Nothing too luxurious but comfortable enough. Furniture has seen better days and the kitchen did miss some basic utensils. Bathroom was quite good.
I would recommend staying here if you're looking for a place close to the public transport hub of Heidelberg, but I would look elsewhere if you're wanting to be closer to the city centre or in need of a more...
