Hotel Liegeplatz 13 Kiel by Premiere Classe — Hotel in Kiel

The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the room was dirty and the courtyard was even dirtier. To make matters worse, on a Monday morning, the (emergency) exits were locked and the staff was nowhere to be found. We talked to them on the phone and they didn't even know who was in charge. They did not call us to update us; we had to call them again. After a while, when an employee finally appeared, she wasn't able to open any door either, at first. She told us to go to one of their other hotels, in the same city, to have our breakfast there. Afterwards, again, there was no staff, except for the cleaning lady, who was waiting outside, in the street, for someone to open the door for her. In the end, did they offer us a voucher or a partial refund? No. Did we receive a written apology? No. They weren't even willing to provide an invoice, claiming that the booking confirmation is...

From time to time we go with our family to Kiel and now we have used Liegplatx 13 a few times for our stay. It is a nice place with large rooms and good prices. It is not very fancy, but it is clean, modern looking and quiet. Breakfast has everything you need as well. ||A few days later we went to Hamburg and paid 4 times as much for a luxury hotel. The room space is the same at Liegeplatz 14 is in the luxury hotel and the bed was the same in both rooms. You get so much more for your monay by staying here when you are in Kiel. The hotel is conveniently located in a few minutes walking distance from the city center and in a quiet area. The single room had enough space for one person and seemed to have been renovated. All clean and tidy, the bathroom was very cramped though. Unfortunately the view of the window wasn't nice, the outside should definitely be cleaned.
