CinemaxX Kiel — Local services in Kiel

If you are German or a Native speaker it is a 5 star Cinema. The Cinema is great, the seats are great, the food is great... However since the beginning of this year, they almost don't release movies with original audio anymore. This is extremely disappointing. In such an international city like Kiel this is unacceptable. I feel excluded as a foreigner and I see this as an attack to the culture, because even though I can understand a movie in Germany, makes no sense to leave my home to watch movie without an original audio. I always watched movies with original audio on the cinemas from my country, why should I watch a not original audio in the cinema here. I deeply believe that they should rethink it, I'm not the only one that I know unhappy with...

The seats are amazing! Probably the most comfortable seat, I’ve ever seen in a theatre. The screen is crisp, the snack and beverage selection (Coca-Cola Freestyle) is great and the design of the hallway is more stunning than some movies they are displaying. Prices are quite high, however, they are not too expensive for a cinema. But there are two things I disliked about my previous visits. The cleanliness inside the theatre was not good and they have a ridiculous 10% surcharge for online booking....

Very nice ambience and clean look overall. I like the dark style of CinemaxX in general. Mostly new mainstream movies but also older movies like Harry Potter 1-8, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit etc. Extremely cheap (starting from 4.99€ per ticket)! Seating is amazing as they have "Recliner" seats which can fold back and give a leg rest. Friendly staff as well. The location within the train station is very...
