Esther's Hotel — Hotel in Accra

We slept so well for five nights at Esther's, we forgot to have jet lag during our work days. ||||It was convenient to the airport (10 minutes) and World Health Organization (walking distance), on a quite side street. The property is small and well kept. The Ghanaian art on the walls is worth more than a few views. Esther and her business partner keep a close personal watch on the operations and are eager to make your stay enjoyable. The gym is well appointed with weights, treadmill, eliptical, and more (no excuses!). The included breakfast is generous with a variety of Ghana fruits, German cheeses, and French croissants. ||||The gardens are small but well appointed. A small but lovely hotel close to the airport. The décor is primarily of wood, nothing fancy. It has no swimming pool but has a gym. We stayed here for a month, that’s how homely we found the hotel. The staff were friendly and competent. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day. The internet was fast and the breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits and freshly pressed juices! I already stayed in Esther’s Hotel in 2014 and never doubted that I would go back, if travelling to Accra again. It is still a great place – most likely the best hotel I have stayed in Africa. I have never met staff which is that friendly and supportive.
