Nice hotel/Lodge with welcoming staff.

We spent a week in Ghana and needed a place to rest and the Lodge met the need. The rooms were clean and the water was hot. The food and services were more than adequate. The location was perfect for getting around the city. Hey here are restaurants in walking distance.

Plan on hiring a driver since they don’t have a shuttle. If you’re anything like us you don’t plan to spend the day in a hotel, so no need over paying for luxury. If you’re looking for high-end then go to a name brand but if your looking for simple cultural immersion then this will fit...

It’s a small hotel in a very quiet, nice residential area. It has a tiny swimming pool but I could still have some strokes and a pleasant garden. The rooms are spacious, full of light, and clean. Comfortable bed, large bathroom with hot shower. I would change the curtain that is short and let water go onto the floor. They give you plenty of water and complimentary tea and coffee. Accommodation was arranged at the very last minute. Long flight journey, flight delayed, arriving after 3am, tired and just wanting to lay on a comfortable bed in a clean hotel without any botheration. Lavender Lodge Hotel was the perfect pick. 10mins drive from the airport, was warmly welcomed by staff after 3am today.
