AC working very well! I took for starter truffle fries, I appreciate that the parmesan cheese was not too much and melted just shredded on top. They have also a tuna tartare that is excellent (no picture). Ex pat here and while I love local food and culture, Churchill is an elegant, exquisitely decorated calm oasis from the hustle and bustle of outside. Dark paneling, oversized rich leather sofas and an INCREDIBLE liquor and food selection. The service is ten out of ten and I am so glad I ordered - my compliments to Churchills Chef. Outstanding service at the bar, with some very knowledgeable barstaff that know their way around a drink.
I'm no cigar afficionado, but there is an excellent cigar sommelier who guides you through the selection process, in a totally non-overwhelming way.
But best of all, the ambience is great, and the manager keeps the music at humanly-bearable levels, meaning that you can have a conversation with your companions, and you won't require hearing aids at the end of the night. A rarity in Accra.
