This all-suites hotel is lovely, with clean rooms, clean crisp linens. When you ask for another towel, they bring it, rather than asking you why you want it (I have actually had this happen in a hotel in the Volta Region of Ghana). The room features that I appreciate are bedside reading lamps that work, AC that works, a fridge that works, bottled water and tea bags and a kettle, and hot water that seems to be centrally provided, as there is no water heater on the wall in the bath room. The bathroom fixtures are new, the styles and colors of the tile in the bathrooms is very pretty, with nonslip floor tile, and a bath mat on the floor by the shower. The included breakfast is brought to your room at the time you select the night before, when you fill out your breakfast request form. Toast, fresh fruit, eggs in many styles, coffee or tea, fruit juice. It is a reasonable selection, and it comes to your room hot and on time. The other meal feature is a well-priced dinner menu that is also room service only. The saute chicken with vegetables, served with rice is consistently good, served up quickly. They even brought us dinner one night when we did not check in until nearly 10 PM because my flight was delayed! The staff are friendly and professional. I have stayed in a few different rooms, and they are not identical. One had a whole separate kitchenette with dining table and sofa, another room had just a separate sitting room with coffee table, sofa, and desk, with flat screen TV on the wall. This was great if one wanted to watch TV and the other sleep or read in bed. The wall and floor tiles colors are nice, curtains nice. Some thought was given to the room ambiance. The only issue I have is some hallways have steps suddenly, only 3 or 4 but no apparent reason to be going up and down, and no hand rails. A little daunting for...
Read moreVisited Accra on work and booked Manjaro Suites through an online portal for 5 nights. The check in was very smooth except for the fact that they only accept Visa/ Master (no AmEx, which was my corporate card). The room was of a decent size but the attached living room was huge. Bathroom is small but functional, came with decent quality toiletries. The towels, linen were clean and good collection of pillows and cushions. The breakfast has to be pre ordered based on a template but is lavish. They arranged a free pick up and Isaac the sales and marketing manager was there to received me. Special mention of the service offered by Devine the cook. The only disadvantage was that I was out all day for meetings and though they have room service they were temporarily closing the service at 4 pm. There are many pizza places and a restaurant close by. Staff was willing to get food packed also. Apparently this is because the cook in the second shift quit and they will soon fill the vacancy. The room has a fridge, hot plate, hot water kettle and basic utensils. I will definitely go back to Manjaro on...
