Ellking Hotel Ltd. — Hotel in Accra

We were put up at this hotel by our airline after a cancelled flight, and were very pleasantly surprised, having expected no more than a generic airport hotel. The hotel was small and welcoming, with a very pleasant staff. The rooms were very spacious and light, nicely furnished, beds extremely comfortable, and service excellent. Arriving at 11 pm after spending the whole afternoon at the airport, we were tired and hungry. Although the kitchen was closed, the reception were very kind and managed to find us something to eat. The next day, we ate an excellent meal at the restaurant. Both rooms and meals were, in addition, reasonably priced, very good value for the money, certainly for Accra. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and would be glad to stay there...

I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.. my plan was to drop my luggage and dash out for a business seminar,but immediately I step into the room I felt I was in a another world. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a lovely bath and well equipped. The room was well furnished and very spacious. I decided to stay indoor to enjoy the serene and cozy ambiance of the hotel. I arrived at Accra looking for a nice and affordable hotel the drive from the airport to the east legion where the hotel was located took less than 15mins. Though it's a bit expensive, it does worth the stay. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a quiet and standard hotel to visit this hotel. Will definitely come here again on my next...

One of many small to medium size hotels in East Legon, Accra, quite close to the airport. On the plus side, nice and clean, quite spacious, friendly and helpful staff.On the quirky side, a strange tap on the bathroom wall that had to be on only when wanting to use hot water, but at least was marked as such. But how to get the water hot? The water heater obviously needed electricity, but it took me some time to work out that the switch for that was located behind the wall-mounted TV! Food in the hotel restaurant was nice, mixture of local West African dishes and more international, but the service was slow. Quite close to the Accra flight path, but it's not a very...
